Aviva Premiership 17/18 - Round 1

Fully agree that BT do some annoying **** (and that interrupting the match to advertise rugby tonight HAS to go - we're not American!)

However, they're still an order of magnitude above any other rugby broadcaster

I was just about to say how much I was enjoying the commentary, so so much better than sky sports.

Controversial but I really like Austin on comms, a good analyst and surprisingly unbiased commentating on Leicester despite his obvious allegiance, compared to someone like Flatman who is a nightmare when he covers bath.

That mid game Foden video ad was terrible, agree on that

Cook has had a good game I thought, especially kicking wise.

Good to see him looking back towards his best.
I remember his season with London Welsh, and then his first full one at bath after, he looked like he'd be the next big thing at 9 for England

Hahaha, Leicester really really don't want to score do they?!

Was that Watson who crunched someone on the 22? Was a big bosh

May finally goes over, third times a charm

How can you make 30m in attack and advantage not be over? Ridiculous

Only four things in life are certain:
Death, taxes, George Ford missing kicks, Tigers hookers inability to throw into the lineout

Bet on Bath winning that, though, so netted £55 :D

Happier than I was with that.

Think having a back line that has hardly played with each other didn't help.

Forwards improved once Thacker and Williams came on.

No injuries I think.

I feel we can build on that second half.

Thought we gifted that to Bath. One try given on a plate by us. Another came from a penalty that wasn't a penalty. We made too many errors at set piece and butchered chances.

I'm not saying we were any good at all but my word Bath were lucky.

Bannas didn't look too happy with the ref at the end of that.

Looks like this season will be outstanding if this weekend is to be continued.
