Air New Zealand Cup Mod

Cool, hopefully we can get all the kits and minikits completed in time for the 2008 season.
 
i just needed the graphics plugin. I decided not to use .gif because it is really low quality. Png works well though. I am hoping to get them out tonight, if not tomorrow night definately.
 
ok I have been testing it and the main standout thing is that the guiness premiership needs to be renamed to ANZ Cup and the logo needs to be changed to the ANZ Cup logo.

I think then Jawmalawm could upload it to the downloads section, unless you guys have any other problems
 
In order to complete this mod, the home kits need to be duplicated and renamed (as the away kits). I think in Guinness premiership mode - the away side will always be forced to wear their away kit - which will be their default kit.
The flags and banners for each team need to be done.
I will have a go at the Air NZ Cup Logo and will rename the Guinness Premiership.
 
I just played and I could choose the opposition kits. This is in the tournament, Guiness Premiership?
 
When in tournament mode you've got to keep the keyboard or joypad in the middle than keep pressing the change kits button until they both go to Home kit. It is a bit of a bother but so far thats the only way I've been able to do it unless we overwrite the away kits too like B-rad said.

For now I'm gonna upload the kits that I've updated a little bit there are a few little changes but the biggest is probably the Waikato kit I've changed the colour and made the patterns alot closer to replica than my last kit. I've tested them all out and they're all sweet as so anywayz here they are:

I just realised what you said B-rad am I able to just use the same Home Kit Files and just rename them to the Away kits and it'll work? I'll have a go and see wish it'll give me longer to edit my post because if it works I could be back to update again soon.
 
Ok things aren't really happening well on the communication side of things. Us three post up your ideas about how to release this patch.

Mine is, once B-rad finishes, we release the patch on the download section. Then Jawmalawm and I work on a few away kits and minikits and release them as an update, and then the old away kits/minikits will be overwritten. I sent all the latest files + a readme that I composed in a .zip file to jawmalawm so he could upload it against his name as he was sort of the founder of this patch. basically I think instead of having people hunting around for different segments and perhaps not choosing the right ones, they just download the whole chabang and its done.
 
Yeah, good call. We will compile everything and then release it as one patch. I wont be able to do any more work until Saturday afternoon - when I'm sober.
 
Yep that sounds good I'm not sure how much more I'll be able to do because my cpu keeps crapping out so if you don't here from me in a few days like 3 or more just try compile all the files and release the patch as a whole.

Just testing out the renaming away kits thingy tell you soon if its worked or not

Yep sweet as looks like it works all good so when I've renamed the away kits I'll be back to upload the away kits too.
 
Using flippin Mosilla Firefox now my internet explorer crapped out again so yeah if my cpu fully craps itself hope you guys can gather all the files and put our patch together for all who want to play ANZ Cup.

So I guess for the waiting people we will probably get this patch uploaded in the download section by the end of the weekend. Further on down the track we will release some updates. This is really shaping up to be a good patch!
 
Do you think you guys could post an image of all the kits? Or at least Waikato's :D

Just wanted to check, have you guys done any of the overiding of actual teams? Like, would all the Hawkes' Bay players play for Hawkes' Bay? Or are most of the players still random GP guys?

holy god now thats some effort to answer a post.

On the news side of things there are many logistic issues with this new SANZAR cup with single english files ect. I just sent a massive PM to B-rad and hopefully he can get this last step done. We're really sorry about this but hopefully it'll be out soon.
 
Thanks for going into such depth to find those, mate, but I think he was asking for shots of the kits in-game... -where's the smiley for the 'devil's advocate'?-
