In the published draft conclusions of their meeting, the EU 27 say:
1. The European Council takes note of the letter of Prime Minister May of 20 March 2019.
2. In response, the European Council approves the Instrument relating to the Withdrawal Agreement and the Joint Statement supplementing the Political Declaration agreed beteween the European Commission and the government of the United Kingdom in Strasbourg on 11 March 2019.
3. The European Council commits to agreeing, before 29 March 2019, to an extension until 22 May 2019, provided the Withdrawal Agreement is approved by the House of Commons next. Given that the United Kingdom does not intend to hold elections to the European Parliament, no extension is possible beyond that date.

The last sentence is the interesting one.

Police have told certain MPs that their safety might be at risk and that it may not be advisable for them to travel home from London this weekend. Most being asked to share taxis so that they're not alone. May throwing them under a bus last night appears to have really done it. 3,500 troops on standby in case of No deal exit next week. How did it come to this FFS. Is this what 'taking back control' looks like. What a shower of shite.

WTF?

Violence on the streets would not surprise me... after Brexit, and untargeted rioting.
This is seriously concerning though; and on May's shoulders

I wonder if the Brexiteers could rely on the EU general principle of Legitimate Expectation to ensure Brexit?

(They can't, but I'd legit vote for "Irexit" if it'd get me out of this EU law exam tomorrow!)

An aide enters the Prime Minister's office.
Aide: "I have good news for you, Prime Minister."
Prime Minister looks disbelieving.
PM: "Are you sure?"
Aide: "Yes, really. You know how you appealed to the British public last night to unleash a wave of public opinion on Brexit?"
PM: "And…?"
Aide: "It's happening! There's a huge wave of public reaction, so great it has broken the Parliament website. There is just one small problem…"

Soubry saying that she's not able to go home this weekend because of the seriousness of the death threats she is facing.

With my usual facetious head on I'd say it's all going to be OK cos Jezza's been in Brussels today. But it all feels a bit serious now.

1,170,584 and counting.

Closing in on 2M, should happen before midnight, depending on further crashes and late night slow down.

ETA, going glossy quickly at the moment, may be in about 15 minutes!

So that's April 12th IF the WA is defeated again; May 22nd IF it passes. Assuming Theresa agrees.

Whilst there's another attempt for parliament to take itself over and have indicative votes (with EFTA+ appearing thr favourite).

Is that right?

Oh, and 2M is up

I wish my bank balance was like the number of signatures...

Part of me now thinks let's just have no deal and see if the people who voted leave finally realise how stupid they were and accept responsibility for the country going down the toilet, however they will never accept responsibility no matter the outcome. Britain could become a 3rd world country and they'd still blame anyone else.

Let's all be grateful for the EU leaders.

May apparently didn't ask for the 12th April and was completely tight lipped when asked what she was going to do if MV3 failed. The EU have essentially saved our bacon from crashing out the EU next week and given MPs a chance to correct it if May tried to run down the clock next week.

It doesn't stop a no deal Brexit but it stops one happening due MV3 occurring too late.

May worried that failing to deliver Brexit would cause "potentially irreparable damage to public trust".

There's public trust in politicians!?

They just want Leinster v Ulster to go ahead!

This is why the likes of JRM and Farage are happy to sit on the sidelines with zero intention of stepping up and delivering what they promised. If Cameron as a former PM can manage to disappear then it'll be even easier for this shower when things go pear shaped. They will either disappear without trace or blame the Government at the time for mismanaging Brexit.

TBF to DC he quit said he didn't want anything to do with it and doesn't keep sticking his oar in. He also despite everything he said to the contrary before the referendum had to quit.

The actual architects of Leave many had the opportunity to lead the way. They quit but can't keep thier gobs shut.

Oh I agree that he had no option but to resign and keep a low profile. His biggest mistake was caving in to the anti-EU right wing shower in his party by agreeing to have a referendum in the first place and being part of a badly run campaign.
