It's funny because if you look at oddschecker the bookies' favourite to become the next PM is Corbyn (God forbid) with BoJo and Gove almost neck and neck just behind him.

That's like having Robshaw, Wood and Haskell competing for the 7 shirt. One might be able to do a semi competent job, but you don't really want any of them.

I think BJ may have won had he got to the membership vote.

Lots of comment that that would still be the case. But lots of Anyone But Boris sentiment in the parliamentary party.

It's official - extension until June 30th requested (and likely to be rejected)

She wants it in order to bring her deal (yeah, yeah, working agreement) to parliament again (which may well be refused a vote on, and is unlikely to pass even if it is)

Is she actually capable of acutally listening?

Great kick in the teeth by Corbyn to mention his plan got more votes than hers.

May making statement at 20:15 speculation is it will be a resignation.

If that's the case we have revoke article 50 right?

Reading now most likely MV3 with a clear deal or no deal.

Amendment to change the motion of no deal to revoke article 50? Possibly remain or referendum.

I mean who da **** know anyway...

I don't think so. Leaving on 29 March is the default position although she may take the view 'screw it - it's someone else's problem now' and resign.

The EU confirmed that they will only grant a short extension on condition she gets her deal approved. She was meeting opposition party leaders tonight and if they again refused to support her deal then that would mean curtains for any extension, essentially leaving her with no way out apart from crashing out without a deal on 29 March.

If she resigns then the EU may change their stance and grant an extension until a new PM is in place.

I don't understand why they don't hold indicative votes instead of separately rejecting everything that gets proposed.

Because that would mean May accepting defeat

Or facing up to reality.

Looks like she's going to announce that MV3 will be held next week and will probably threaten everyone with No deal if it doesn't get approved.

She's going to announce MV3 on Monday apparently. If/When it loses I reckon she will ask the EU for a long extension as her final act and then resign giving the next PM time to try and sort it out.

I think all her discussions with everyone today has been about that possibility.
I can't see her being allowed to bring MV3 to parliament. Bercow won't allow it, and parliament won't vote to overrule him.

The sad thing is they've told her repeatedly what they'd want. If she went a referendum she have her deal tomorrow subject to the public giving it the thumbs up.

Or a soft Brexit - offer Parliament and EFTA type relationship, and it's done.
