Hey at least it's not 3400 angry I've woken up in the morning and I'm angry posts like I have.....sometimes the anger is sustained throughout the day but usually it start at I'm awake time.

Serious though apart from a place to talk about rugger I'm glad I have a place where I state my views, be challenged and it only descend into a small part of chaos, most other forums this wouldn't be allowed and gone to merry hell a long time ago.

Now they are protesting outside the London US embassy.

Honestly people are sooooo thick.

(Majority seem to be women complaining about Trump ironic considering that majority of White women voted for Trump).

But why protest in London FFS it seems like a protest happens every other day in London dammit not like the embassy workers can do anything.

I get being ****** but it isn't productive at all.

If you want to see ****storm look at the planet rugby forum. ;)

Yeah I mean it's not like Clinton is a paragon of feminism anyway. Being a woman really shouldn't make you a feminist icon. She's what we who study feminism (they're making me take this class, I swear) call a 'social male'. She once defended a rapist by implying the girl had daddy issues and fantasized about older men. Not to mention this whole husband accused of rape also thing.
Honestly voting Clinton because of feminist reasons is as stupid as any of the reasons people voted Trump.

The same has been true with Thatcher and May.

Yep, trouble is a lot seem to forget or don't know that a fair amount of western countries have had Female leaders already by now.

Like this song of hers

I mean Thacther isn't popular in many places but she was prob the strongest willed PM Britain had and prob made the biggest changes (good or bad), but I bet only 3 - 5% of women in America have heard of her.

If Clinton was English she would be considered a conservative aswell IMO, TBH she is only considered liberal in America. She wasn't any stronger than trump in supporting the LGBT community in the race (well from what I remember).

The same has been true with Thatcher and May.
Difference is they where both always viewed as right wing, America is a strange set up where Right leaning politicians are viewed as Liberal flag bearers.

America could really do with another one/two big parties an actual Left one certainly IMO.

Dunno if we've had a leader as conservative as Clinton would have been since De Valera. We don't really have a noticeable right wing in Ireland these days. Just a lot of very ideologically similar parties of varying competence. Tigs that song you linked is genuinely cancer, and feels like crapping in reverse but at least the comments are funny.
Edit: Jesus the rap bit

Lol sums up her campaign doesn't it.

I find it strange hat some are acting like she would of been a Martin Luther King Jr. For Women if voted in.

Let's face it her main selling point was she isn't trump and Trumps main selling point was he isn't Clinton.
Unfortunately for Clinton she is viewed as THE career politician and the main symbol of the establishment.

I mean I really can't understand why anyone would vote for either of those two with enthusiasm. I would have voted Harambe and just voted local elections, balls to it.

What is the point of a write in option.

Side note my write in would be either T. J. Detweiler or Stone cold Steve Austin

Yeah well America have always been bonkers on that point Bernie Sanders described as socialist was barely left of Nick Clegg.

I mean I know we touched on it earlier but I keep hate hearing how all this is because people hate liberalism. When the closest we've since the second world war to a liberal goverment was a coalition government where they were a minor member and basically manged one great bit of legislation and just frustrate the Tory's.

Most people confuse liberalism with socialism. I know they go hand in hand in some part bit still.

It must be the Irish in me, but I would definitely have gone the dirty protest route with a protest vote.

Make America Ginger again!

My issue with it isn't the parties or policies so much but the increase of the militant (well for this country) supporters who seem to have blurred the lines.

Does anyone else think these Letters to kids explaining them about what is happening with trump a bit OTT?

http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/11/aaron-sorkin-donald-trump-president-letter-daughter/amp

I mean FFS he hasn't done anything yet.

I think Colbert summed it up properly with his sign off last night.

When I was young politics wasn't a thing not till I turned 13 really and I didn't need my parents to say they are sorry They couldn't protect me, it hasn't lowered my self awareness.

As Colbert says Politics now on both sides has become soooo poisonous. And I personally feel that adults on both sides are using there kids as a way of putting across a message which IMO is wrong, and now in the age of likes and social media people are doing it for attention FFS a FB friend from England posted how her kid was crying becuase trump won like WTF I don't care..... Your just attention seeking IMO.

Maybe I'm being to cynical but it's so needy.

Also tried of it being White men getting the blame, White women voted in a similar style aswell.

That letter was pathetic. Throwing a high class tantrum.

I know right I'm sure he and his family will be massively affected....

Then people like Katy Perry tweet this about it
We need more courageous men like this to speak up and say that there is GREAT examples of men out there

Like what the fek.

And people wonder why there is a growing resentment towards the left.

Zack Efron or Duff Man for me. The latter wouldn't have cause for worry about dying in office considering he can't die.

I think the write in is a hilarious idea though, imagine being eligible for president and getting voted in that way, can't imagine anything that would ruin your pre bed corn flakes more!
