A Political Thread pt. 2

And in the end the judge just fines him.
From what I've read he's only been lightly fined because it was a previous post they forgot to remove rather than a new offense. Knowing trump though, be simply won't be able to contain himself and will breach the gag order soon.

Anyone else get a leaflet advising your local council will start charging for taking away Garden waste in green bins from next April?
They've been charging here for a few years - can't remember how much it is but not too much, and worth it
They give you a big sticker you stick on your bin so they know whose they can empty

Always think it's weird that the bin situation is so wildly different from town to town
We have:
Black bin: General waste
Brown bin: Garden waste
Blue bin: Plastic/Metal recycling
Blue bag: Paper recycling

Friend of mine lives in Leicester and they don't have any recycling bins (think they have bags you just leave on the floor by your bins?), and when I lived in Wales they had dedicated food waste bins (like the ones mentioned above)

It's comical really. They make it hard to dispose stuff and then wonder why fly tipping is on the rise.

To use a term from the betting community...that's a lock!

Sorry some councils in England actually charge you for taking away garden waste which they provide a bin for?

That's mental

Yep, used to have a blue box for newspapers but they stopped taking that away. So now going to be left with:

Black bin for general waste. Now Limited to one per household from the end of this month.
Brown - for mixed recycling
Green - as above.

And await what comes of this food waste one from 2026. Had a little caddy for that before but didn't leave that one out before but had to buy biodegradable bags for that.

The man's beyond logic.
All data suggests they've lost completely the general public. Partygate is still massive on the doorsteps as well as the the Trussterfuck. And they aren't going to recover that no matter what he does it's all about shoring up that core base of 20% of the country that vote Blue even if they suggested they come round and shoot their kids.

Israel carried out an air strike in Jenin in the northern West Bank early on Sunday, saying Hamas was using a mosque as a "terrorist compound".

Palestinian Authority officials said two people died when the Al-Ansar mosque was hit.

Although the Israeli military regularly raids targets in the West Bank, it rarely uses air strikes there like it does against Hamas-controlled Gaza

Casual air strike in the West Bank. I thought the focus was on Hamas in Gaza.
