Maybe the EU fruit pickers will be replaced with Ghanian ones just like with the nurses. That'll drive down net migration. Maybe this is what taking back control looks like - replace Eastern Europeans with Africans and hope that the red wall brigade won't notice and if they do just blame the EU anyway.

Our national politics are going to be boring as **** until the gop primaries start but state politics in Florida is absolutely insane right now. I guess it's just a precursor to the primary but it hasn't reached international meme territory of trump/Johnson/truss.

Isn't Trump storing classified documents including Nuclear secrets in his shower room yet another example of one bonkers story and then showing any top dick or Harry classified defence plans and maps and being recorded as saying he knows they are secret? Could not make this **** up if he tried.

And the fact that this case is being overseen by Eileen Canon, the Trump appointed judge who was slapped down during the process of obtaining the evidence for this for her clear partisanship, overstepping her jurisdiction and complete disregard for the legal proceedings. How she is in charge when she already has a proven track record of judicial malpractice related to this very case already. It's staggering. Pressure will be mounting on her to recuse herself as she cannot be trusted to be impartial.

Fair play to Sunak for standing firm I reckon. He did the same when David Cameron asked him to bail out his failed Greenshill investment with taxpayers' money. Johnson is just a low life.
 
Marjorie Taylor Greene in the USA may have admitted to committing a crime on TV saying she copied down information from classified documents and taking them away with her. She'll probably get away with it but, seeing as she has openly admitted to it (because she is thick and likely had no concept or care that it was illegal) and given the backdrop of Trump's mishandling of sensitive information, it may not be beyond the realm of possibility she has the FBI coming after her. God I hope so...

So I'm sure almost everyone in the UK got covid at some point and know people who died or have serious health complications from getting it. So what do those 15% actually think happened considering they or people they know actually got ill?

That it was just a bad cold/flu I am sure. Few if any were on the frontline and saw those who couldn't breathe and died as a result.
