A Political Thread pt. 2

Is it normal to have the whip suspended for appearing on reality TV? Ah yes reading about Dorries that does appear to be the policy during their absence from parliament.

Johnson going on holiday perfectly fine though...

Tbf Johnson situ is different - he can still technically work, Hancock can't.

Apparently wants to raise awareness of his Dyslexia Campaign (he also has a book coming out I thinkI)

So his constituents voted in a Tory.

In a really crap time for many of those constituents, when parliament is still sitting, he chooses to p*ss off to the other side of the world to take part in a risible 'reality' show. Crass.

Those constituents are now represented by an independent - which they didn't vote for. Not that he can do much representing in the jungle.

I think Dorries had the whip suspended for something like 6 months in the end.

He's a backbencher now, but it's another open goal for Starmer on Tory culture.

Anyone know what's going on here?
Presumably "just" posturing, but I've not idea what's triggered it

Not only the Simpsons that predict the future. Isn't it sad that we are living through things that were said as jokes?

Surely nothing like that has actually happened? If so, how was it ot plastered everywhere?

Or have you been caught into not noticing it's The Onion?

Read my comment again, I'm more than aware of what the onion is. Look at the date on the story...

Guess what?
