A Political Thread pt. 2

So it looks like on of the Russian agents involved in the attempt of opposition leader Navalny's life was tricked into admitting various details of the plot including the fact that the Russian state has again using Novichok in an attempted state assassination in a public place.

Seriously the world needs to come down hard on Russia, this bullshit must be punished.

For any who can bear it, this is an example of what happens when a Fox news Trump sympathiser meets someone who is prepared to actually argue the facts and hammer them home...

She gets torn to shreds.

Not just this. 2 years ago the firm I was working for got hit by a Russian backed ransomware attack. They also attacked the NHS a few years ago. They need hitting back.

Typical that she plays the sexist card when accusing BTC of interrupting her and then interrupts him when he speaks. Typical right winger playing by different rules.

Surprise surprise. Putin signs legislation to make him immune from prosecution even after he leaves office.

That's not a new information,we were discussing that a month ago or so, I think they were writing a lot about it in our media before. Episode 2, after the Constitution amendment, everyone was expecting that

Have watching recently Putin's press conference, a lot of hilarious moments. Especially that one (especially the last question how to describe this life without using uncensored words), those who don't speak Russian can turn on English subtitles

Shameless list of pardons by Trump. But executions for prisoners on death row increase in his last days of office.

Classic case of "Deny, Deflect and Discredit" there from Putin - Trump and Bojo have learnt it works even in US and UK respectively. I don't know if you've seen this clip from the same Q & A?

I think because Putin he's normalized it and he's also an insidious evil Fecker. Trump and Bojo are just clowns in comparison.

Putin Defo has something on Trump IMO.

Staggering how he can say they "freed" the nations who wanted to develop from Soviet tyranny. You were part of that tyranny Putin, you said it was a sad day when the USSR collapsed, the USSR certainly didn't want to let them go but was forced to due to mounting unrest and pressure from the world. Russian history and modern news is so grossly distorted.

With respect you are not looking at things from a Russian POV. Russia has always distrusted the west and NATOs expansion East since the cold war it's made the Russians very insecure. Yes Putin is a very nasty character and the current revision of Russian history by his government is bordering on farcical but NATOs expansion has only strengthened his position.

If true thank **** for that, always thought we'd end up with one in the end but the stress has been painful.

Of course the devil's in the details in how much worse it is than actually being in EU but no-deal was always going to be unmitigated disaster.

Hopefully given the French their way on fishing for more favourable competition rules.
