Palestinians attack biblical figure Joseph's tomb in West Bank

The holy site in the West Bank was vandalised in what Israel's PM called a "frenzy of destruction".

It's bizarre how this site has been targeted by Palestinians. It may be more significant in Judaism than Islam but Joseph was still an important prophet in Islam. It would appear, as usual, many people who resort to religious violence seem to have sweet FA understanding of their own religion. These people are desecrating what is also a holy site in their religion too.

Sir David Amess: Man found guilty of murdering MP

The Southend West MP was stabbed more than 20 times during a constituency surgery in October 2021.

Also least surpsing jury decision in history feel sorry for his defence barrister and counsel was on a loosing side throughout but no doubt put full effort in trying to provide a good defence. Hope he gets the book throwb at him especially for not pleading guilty.

Took the Jury only 18 minutes to convict.

Pretty messed up individual who got sucked into Extremism. His father was a former communications adviser to the prime minister of Somalia, who was reportedly anti-jihadist.

Not sure what the answer is as surely there will be more like this in a liberal democracy here. Only going to lead tougher/archaic laws which use these instances to justify them.

You can't blame Sweden and Finland and you would have to question Russia's ability to fight on another two fronts if they repeated the invasion of Ukraine. However, it certainly raises tensions and there is still the threat of WMDs and chemical weapons.
 
I'm not going to pretend this isn't incendiary and plays to stereotypes heavily. I still laughed a lot.

The PM and chancellor apologise for attending a party in lockdown, but pledge to stay in post.

Thats it folks both Johnson and Sunack to be fined.

PM lied to the commons and broke stringent laws during a major health crisis designed to help mitigate the spread.

How he doesn't get removed is literally beyond me.

Sunak could through a real cat amongst the pigeons by resigning (which he was considering doing anyway about his wife's tax status etc). If that happened then surely BoJo would be toast. They either both stay or both go.
 
Confirmed law breaking really should trigger an automatic bye-election in that constituency, with the guilty MP barred from standing.

That damned unwritten constitution strikes again

Two most senior politicians in the country caught breaking the law and repeatedly lying about it to parliament (or should that be accidentally misleading parliament? I know you can't use the L word in there)

Going to be interesting to see how they worm their way out of this - and I think they will, because when has a Tory ever faced consequences?
 
Apparently it's over to Sue Gray again. She now has to prepare a second report which means Fatty will no doubt now say "Let's wait for the Sue Gray report" just as he said "Let's wait for the Met to finish their investigation" after the Sue Gray interim report was published months ago.

Sunak is already on a burning bridge after the last week he certainly could grab Johnson and take him with him (which he should).

Seriously they are really going to try that one? ******* hell.....

I mean hes always going to have to be pushed rather than go himself.
 
Hopefully Sunak decides he just doesn't need all the grief (after his Mrs was dragged into it) and resigns. He and his wife's family are minted and can easily enjoy life away from politics.
