Its not just 1 though. By my count 4 people have got involved in this. So, as Nick said, quit the infantile name calling or another good thread is going to get closed
Okay, no more name calling or I just close thread.
off topic, so maybe one to move to suggestions but why close a perfectly good thread because of one persons poor behaviour..... just dish out a temporary ban, because lets face it it's not the first time we've been at this stage of petty insults being chucked around by certain people.
Can you, the mods, restrict people from posting in certain areas - i've been on other forums where to gain access to various areas you had to show a degree of good behaviour and regular posting (stopped the trolls).
Actually you made a deliberate incendiary flippant remark which is a hallmark of a troll. Got called one and then you proceeded to throw your toys out the pram even though the original reply apart from calling you a troll replied back on the topic.Robshaw ?
He's ****e he wouldn't get in any of the top sides 15
My remark was not meant as incendiary or indeed flippant it was in response to my view that there are easily 5 players more vital to England than Robshaw, it doesnt take much to wind up some people does it. I suppose similar comments about Lydiate from some of you lot are acceptable but we arent allowed to say anything negative about English players.Actually you made a deliberate incendiary flippant remark which is a hallmark of a troll. So you don't rate Robshaw? So what? Loads people don't except you don't want to talk about that in reality otherwise you'd engage in a conversation after your initial post for once instead of after the flames burned down. All you're interested in is starting an argument.

The word Troll and term trolling is pathetic and mutes of playground name calling (something I have been guilty of I admit)
I dont however agree that arguments are all I'm interested in, a bit of banter maybe.
Lets stop being over sensitive and talk about rugby, maybe you could tell me which international side Robshaw could get in other than England, I personally couldnt see him in any of the following -:
New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Wales, Ireland or France.
One other question, if you could have 3 players from other international squads in your team who would they be?

Talk about backtracking - you called him, and i quote, "****e".
You didn't say there were 5 better, you said he was ****e and no good enough to play for a top side.
You should make that a thread.
I also think if someone came in and swore about Warburton, people would get pretty upset as well. Just present an argument calmly and people will reply calmly.
1) Do you actually know what a troll or trolling is? This where a person deliberately inflames & derails internet discussions for kicks and giggles. The internet is absolutely rife with people doing it and it's bloody annoying. It's not name calling it's trying to deal with an actual problem.
2) Assuming Robshaw plays 6 or 7 (because he can). NZ fair enough he won't budge McCaw or Kaino, same goes for POM & SOB in Ireland. Aus Fardy, SA Coetzee, France Le Roux, would all get dropped for him I suspect. As for Wales I think it depends on the coach Lancaster would take Robshaw, Gatland takes Warbs. I think it's a close run thing there.
3) Separate thread topic?
Well considering he is the captain and one of the first names on the sheet for England, who are a top side...
Ah, why'd you have to spoil a good post right at the end with guff like that?
yes that is what I said, I am not back tracking, which top sides do you think he'd get in ?
Point taken, however if someone had called Warbs ****e, I would respect their opinion, then argue against , I wouldnt use personal insults or that stupid modern term troll.
1. Just think the term/word troll is annoying and used a substitute for a reasonable response.
2. I am aware many English like Robshaw, I don't rate him as an openside, to me he would be better utilised as a blindside, saying that I also would prefer Warbs on the blind with Tips at 7.

Australia can't drop Fardy without some major implications for their lineout, particularly if trying a) to include Skelton in the second row at any point or b) Playing Pocock and Hooper together; Robshaw would have to beat out one of that pair for a place imo.
Coetzee is a flat out better player than Robshaw imo and I would take him for England in a heartbeat (and Coetzee isn't a guaranted starter with everyone available).
Robshaw wouldn't get into the Wales back-row as long as they provide the hyper-specialised approach, at least not as first choice. Closest he'd get is to Lydiate imo, where's he no the same tackler but does a hell of a lot more on top of tackling. I'd consider that swap. Warburton, probably no, I'd prefer his extra pace.
I like Robshaw as a player a lot but would say there's a fair few better than himself out there, mainly because he lacks outstanding areas of specialism and is short of explosive power compared to most of his peers.
edit: And yes, three to steal would make a good new topic. If someone else doesn't make it it happen, I will.
I agree he'd be extremely unlikely to make the bench of world XV vs world xv B match. However my point was simply is it's not cut a dried he wouldn't make those teams I should of said could possibly get dropped.like Robshaw as a player a lot but would say there's a fair few better than himself out there, mainly because he lacks outstanding areas of specialism and is short of explosive power compared to most of his peers.
all fair points, but not really relevant to my OP about why Robshaw is vital ahead of the world cup. *sorry pedant*
Even if you want to now hide behind that "you should respect my opinion" guff, it's clear what you were doing and it got the response from people it deserved and the one you clearly wanted.
