[2025 Six Nations] France vs Scotland - 15/3/25

Yeah that's a weird one - it's like they use the high degree of danger as a "rule by outcome" ruling, which it shouldn't be

Headbutting anyone is a high degree of danger - just because he didn't knock him out doesn't mean it wasn't a deliberate strike
A high tackle can be accidental as tackles are part of the game - a headbutt is a headbutt
Yeah. This is the crucial bit IMO. He intended to do it. The fact he didn't connect with full force isn't really the point.

I can't help but think that White's Neymar routine helped France a bit there.

Out of interest, would swinging, and missing, a punch be a red card?
I would definitely say so intent and all that.

Not Seen a punch in a rugby game in about a decade when there was Bath V Gloucester match and I think both sides lost like three players.

He should have shown red immediately, the bunker wouldn't then have been involved
It's Carley hardly the best, if he was a descent ref Scotland would have just been pinged for excessive rolling preventing the Jackle, swings and roundabouts.

No, probably not. Not a high degree of danger from a bit of air 😀

Still wanting an ice hockey style system for fighting. Miss them days.
I think every nation's most recently retired grub should be in full kit on the sideline and be allowed to fight at times during the game.

Imagine AWJ and POM slogging it out during a waterbreak.
