Kind of worried about their self-awareness if they didn't realise how bad it was. Also more criticism for EJ if he either hadn't identified the issue or hadn't actually told his players.

Honestly, pretty much everyone who watches England knows Mako will probably collapse at the scrum so not sure what he's surprised about.

Don't think he actually did looking back - he face planted but I think that's cause his arms were wrapped up by the defender, then I think he stayed down cause of the pain, cause his face scraped along the turf for what looked like a metre or more and was bleeding for the rest of the game

Hutch is Scottish,
Dingwall generally a defensive 12 , Atkinson for me , even as a Saints fan.
In fairness Lawrence was good ladt well mom no one else is 12
Others just make up numbers.
End of Manu who no doubt will cash in.
Why not as he comes to end of all Rugby.

I agree though - I think Farrell/Lawrence and Slade/Marchant are our centre options for the rest of the 6N and anyone brought in is just gonna be making up the numbers in training so might as well give that spot to a nipper to get some experience in camp

I could be reading this wrong but do you not think Lawrence-Slade is an option? That's my first choice.

His form hasnt been great, he now will get a ban and not feature for england at all before the WC and is still an injury risk.

Personally I'd fully invest all my caps in someone like arundell and keep Watson on the bench to come on if needed as we know what he can do.

Harsh on both Freeman and Murley but if Borthwick has OHC and Malins and 1st choice wingers. Then Watson to cover, the. Arundell as 4th choice that feels enough.

Then there is Daly and marchant who can also cover in an emergency.
