2023-2024 transfers

Also on Wasps front, apparently no official contact been made with players yet... lots of scratching heads at the moment, suggests there are challenges with infrastructure which might be holding up coaches, players, staff etc. If we don't sort it soon, think we will be heading further down the system for sure

Back-row Viliami Taulani, scrum-half Jack Stafford, wing Conor Oresanya and prop Rhys Litterick all leaving Quins.

Disappointed Taulani never actually came to anything, was v excited about it at first!

On another note...Mark Wilson confirms he's leaving the falcons.

Looks like a complete overhaul at the falcons....

Tuivasa-sheck leaving the Blues at the end of the year to head back to the warriors in League.

Disappointed he never came to what he could have been

Yeah but that doesn't leavers during the season, managed to find this. So 13 so far confirmed.

1 prop
1 hooker
2 locks
4 back rows
1 FH

With Moon and Whitten going thats 15.

Moon LCD Williams
Van Heerden Kirsten
Ewers Leatherbarrow Grondona
Whitten JSimmonds
SSimmonds SoB
Nowell Hogg Cordero

Ok so Whitten at 9 is abit iffy but SSimmonds could play 12 so i stand by it.

Still not far off losing a genuine XV leaving.

Byron McGuigan retiring to take up a coaching role with Sale:

Always a big fan of his, proper no nonsense winger - had a very good partnership with Denny for a while

Half way down chiefs confirm that Ben Moon, Stuart Hogg and Ian Whitten are retiring, Dave Ewers, Jannes Kirsten, Sam Simmonds, Joe Simmonds, Sean O'Brien, Luke Cowan-Dickie are al leaving.

Further confirmation that Harry Williams, Jack Nowell and Jack Maunder are also leaving..

I don't think that this had been previously confirmed (or even really rumoured) anywhere, had it? Seems odd to hide that announcement in that article.

Makes sense though. Been leapfrogged by his younger brother and both Becconsall and Cairns already look up to the standard at a very young age.

Does mean that of the 23 who won the Champions Cup only 6 will remain (Hepburn, Gray, Vermeulen, Slade, Yeandle, Devoto).

No sorry thats what i meant haha. Yeah the squads had a fairly brutal overhaul. I wonder who will come in as i'm sure the squads going to need filling out.

I can empathise with your depression but looking at the age profile of those leavers and taking into account the normal leavers you get at the end of a season, I think it needed to happen just maybe not all at once.

Will be hard next season but the one after you should be getting right back up there.
