2023-2024 transfers

Falcons sign Ollie Leatherbarrow from Exeter. 21 year old Scotland back rower...another big carrier.

Seems theres been a target for much more ball carriers in the pack for next season.

He and his brother were 7s when with us - considering it's Chiefs I'd imagine he's more of a Simmonds at 8 (i.e. still really a 7) than a big bruiser of a carrier

Yeah, spot on. He's a very good ball carrier in BUCS, and a pretty good one at Prem Cup level, but he's no brute and I don't think he'll stand out in that way at Prem level. At 6'1 I doubt he'll be seen primarily as an 8 at any clubs that aren't Chiefs. Good player though.

SO'B to Munster now fully confirmed. Happy enough with that. Should be a good option at the very least. Plays 12 and 13 and still fairly young.

That type of carrying will be incredibly welcome....

If hes a 7 then hes replacing Will Welch, Gary Graham and i really worry about Connor Collett. Crackin player but hes been sat down for the last few months i believe due to head knock issues.

Signing someone called Sean O'Brien?
God you want to be Leinster so much

There's 4 by my count. Two active two retired We signed Connacht's Sean O'Brien, Connacht signed Leinster's Sean O'Brien and the main Sean O'Brien probably has to sign at a police station every week for ******* on someone in a pub.

If that is how it works and they sign Jacques N and we get fortunes of SOB in his prime for Leinster and they get fortunes of Jacques time here I'll reluctantly agree

Seriously what is the full list of leavers for Chiefs this season??

We must be in double figures.

From internationals to academy players it's pretty insane.

Interested in Tigers leavers.
Looking at that i'm pretty pleased with all the incomings
Bassett, OHC, Brown for Nadolo, Watson, Ashton
Shillcock for Hegarty
Hatherall for Jansen
Atkinson for Burns

Yeah but that doesn't leavers during the season, managed to find this. So 13 so far confirmed.
Yup, they come under the 2022-23 list; but I've not been keeping up with Exeter to have been able to give an easy answer; linking to the one list is usually enough for anyone to find the other (as you showed).

thought it said Hodge was off too for a second! Serious rework happening at Chiefs.

So chiefs theoretically would be Hepburn, Frost, Abuladze, Grey, Jenkins,Capstick, Tshiunza, Vermeulen, J Maunder, Skinner, Hawkins, Slade, Woodburn, Kata, Hodge?

If so its a seriously changed team... I mean then bench of Sio, Innard, Ifoesa Scott, Davis, Roots, S Maunder, WHW, Devoto?

It's going to one hell of a year for Exeter to be sure... confident we will see a few more players in the door especially with Southern Hemisphere players contracts up and WC cycle.
