[2022 Six Nations] Wales vs France (11/03/22)

Eddie Butler: It's a knock on advantage.

JD1: I think there was a knock on. Yeah they're going back.

This is a good Wales performance regardless of result.

Does Biggar need to play the full 80? He seems to have gone backwards this tournament after improving his game.

Really? Improvement in some areas, but haven't looked like scoring and mainly got points from French errors.

International feed doesn't have Jiffy (RIP cause I love him yelling offside at the refs and for players to pass from the box) but the comms are acting like Wales have won the game

There's always a dodgy one when you win a grand slam. Playing for second tomorrow.

Captivating game, Wales have a dearth of talent in key areas right now.

Well that feels like the closest anyone will get to beating France....

Butler claimed penalty advantage and Jiffy corrected him saying it was knock on rather than pen?

Aren't you the lucky one (not having Jiffy)

Only tangentially related but I'll point this out since 10 out of the 23 French players are at Toulouse. Kolbe chose being at Toulon who are 2 points above relegation over staying at Toulouse. Now I can't fault a guy for taking a million euro contract but he could have been part of a legendary European side.

Wales defiantly exceeded expectations and were pretty solid, did however feel like Carley was a little inconsistent in terms of not rolling and sealing off pinging France pretty harshly at times whilst letting Wales get away with far more.

It's amazing how Jiffy mentioned Biggar twice in his MOTM award when he basically messed up with five mins left and gave possession back to France as Wales were in the French 22. Did he do anything of note other than one low risk crossfield kick to Cuthbert?

Pretty good 50/22 to be fair but no nothing memorable outside of that.

Surprised Liams Williams was taken off as ge was so solid under the high ball especially going forward, the wales attack wasnt great but he was having a good game.
