[2022 Six Nations] France vs England (19/03/22)

Can anyone tell me what Smith did that was brilliant there?
He ran diagonally, jumped in the air, committed 0 defenders, and shipped the ball on to Furbank having stolen his space.

take some dance music, cut the clip to just the jump part and slap that on YouTube and you got yourself a highlight reel

Yeh but Faz would have passed early committing no one or just kicked to touch

We're clearly second best but there are some good bits here and there. When we attack ball-in-hand, we're doing quite well. It's the second phase that's ruining any momentum we've made.

I thought he did commit Danty which made him turn his shoulders inward which created the space for Furbank.

If England can keep this within 6 I'll keep entertaining notions of a French capitulation. They can frequently look brilliant, but never look convincing for a full 80 to me. Problem is England dont seem capable of exploiting mental lapses from the French.

WTAF, whoever was on the outside there ran past Slade … there wasn't even a ruck FFS.

Reminds me of 2018 when we got destroyed at the breakdown, pretty sure Lawes/Simmonds were in the backrow then as well
