[2021 Six Nations] Wales vs England (27/02/21)

This ref is a ******* disgrace. You can't "play to a ref" when he is penalising anything he possibly can.

I try to fair to the ref, but this is getting ridiculous. You stop the game to talk to the captain and tell him to talk to his players, he then does that while the water carriers are on and you allow Wales to take it quickly...

That was ridiculous. When the ref specifically tells a captain to talk to his team he should check with him before he allows the penalty taker to proceed. The point is NOT to give an advantage to a team but to prevent a certain action from happening again.
I understand the ref is the ultimate authority but they need to figure out a way to make them accountable for their mistakes. That was just sad to watch.

But when you have a reputation like Farrell, the ref will be more intolerant.
Not saying he is having good game, but he will favour the less annoying team

If he's penalising everything he possibly can, are you suggesting he should let illegal play go?

Farrell got ****** on the not rolling call but England just can't be sending the waterways out there and expecting the referee to stop the game for them. Game starts when the referee restarts the play.

Maro should have been binned after three penalties.

The same indiscipline that causes a ramping up of penalties like this has dogged Jones' tenure and should be a serious question mark over him.

The only thing you can say is perhaps it's that same playing on the edge which is responsible when we're on top, and perhaps - you can't have it both ways?

I'm not sure

I was gonna stay sober with this one, but i think I'm gonna go out and buy some booze. Better than watching the ref penalise us off the park.

There Mako dived on the ball first, he wasn't playing it on the ground. Therefore scrum to Wales...wtf?

I'm suggesting he is penalising for stuff that isn't even illegal, he allowed a try after telling Farrell to talk to the players and he has turned a blind eye to Welsh infringements.

Like there, Mako dived for the ball on the floor, completely legal, ref calls it diving off feet, which it wasn't. He gave a penalty for LEGAL play. How can you play the ref when you get penalised even when you aren't doing something wrong?
