Oh bud, you think you've proven something in your head but you really haven't. Your missing a whole lot of context and factors.

But look, you clearly have a much better read on an individuals skill, talent and overall ability than ex and current England players as well as current England coaches.

Don't let it get to you so much bud. It's really not worth it. People rate different things and might see the game a bit different to you. I'm sure you played the game at a very high level so feel your opinion is just as valid as professionals who have actually played against him but try not to get wound up so much alright. Thats my bad, just seen it! Good supporting line, so fair enough. When tries are scored like that I usually give more credit for line break and subsequent interplay than actually touching down, but even if i gave an 8, thats still 92/17, for a rating of 5.4

He's talented, but as I said, jack of many trades, but not really a master of any. Could probably play any position from 7 (not 8) to 15, and thats a talent rarely seen in todays specialist game. Plus we all may have trained with that guy who's amazing on a practise pitch, does cool things you dont expect from players their position, and that gets the wows.

Anyway if your argument is "you're missing some things" without identifying what they are (and i followed his little blue scrum cap as best I could) , I'd say its a little shaky. Show me some evidence and I'll pay attention
From his position beside the ruck, he probably leads the blitz up in defense, so I could give you that, and he does make good defensive reads. But he's a centre playing flanker for me (and more of a 13 than a 12 at that)

Ha ha. Yeah never said he was the best in the world. I don't think there's many back rows in the northern hemisphere that can do what he can but that's different. It's depends on what game you want to play and what role you want you players to play. Nice straw man though.

Well played sir. I'm quite comfortable about where Wales are in the rugby food chain to be honest. England, however, should really have about 5 WCs under their belt. Biggest underachievers in rugby, no doubt.

I think Ireland take that mantle in all honesty, we probably should have one more world cup due to finals we've been in and couple more 6 nations. France probably should have a similar better record than ourselves.
