[2021 Six Nations] Ireland v England (20/03/2021)

Fra will be really embarrassed to have lost to Eng.
Fra will be really embarrassed to have lost to Eng.
Damned, every year there is a mediocre team that decides to overachieve against us
At least, if we do not lose both remaining games with more than 20 points each, we'll end up ahead of England :D

ITV: "let's get an England point of view on this set back" after exclusively talking about England for the last 6 minutes

Made another table as I already had the Italy one:

Some key points:

- This is the first 6N EVER that England have finished with a negative points difference.
- First loss at home to Scotland since 1983
- Record largest points conceded to Wales
- We were also on course for the record loss to Ireland there until the red card.
- The fainter line is the 4 year rolling average. Tellingly, from 2020 (where the average only covers years where Jones has been in charge), the PD has plunged and from 2016 where he had his first contribution to it, it has only risen once. England under Jones are gradually shipping more and more points.

There are no excuses that can be made about how we are practicing our attacking shapes, that was an all round **** fest. Jones has now overseen our worst and 3rd worst ever 6N and that was with probably the most talent England have had since 2003. 2nd worst was 2007 where the country was devoid of talent anyway.

Also if I ever get the motivation, I may put together a 6N team database for all your argument statistical needs.

Anyone know how many minutes Robson played at FH vs. how many minutes he played at SH this 6N?
He played a fair of the Welsh game I think when we thought we'd finally seen the back of Youngs.....
