Anyone could of beaten that Ausssie team and the Kiwi's were beaten better by wholly Irish and English sides. You've got to imagine he's picked Beard because he can play a particular role off the bench (possibly). E.g he's tall does certain things well. Maybe he didn't need another work horse like Gray but someone who does one specific aspect very well and everything else average. I find it funny that people still talk about Gats as if he's **** and doesn't know what he's doing. Yes I think some decisions are odd, like Murray being Capt, but hey, he's beat the Aussie's, drawn with the Kiwi's and won a load with Wales. Probably knows more than you.
The other elephant in the room in regards to Kruis is he's played more internationals since the world cup than the entire SA squad.
And you have your answer right there then,March 7th 2020 when he outplayed AWJ to beat wales
He's been playing against a handful of them in Japan too.The other elephant in the room in regards to Kruis is he's played more internationals since the world cup than the entire SA squad.
2019 (but only the Six Nations) also countsWell International rugby literally only began this year, literally nothing before this year should be considered.
The Rainbow Cup - that's the real test of a manIf Japan is considered to be a good enough warm up for the Lions.
Were all but 1 plays in the top league.
I struggle to see why it would be deemed a sub par competition to select someone who has a **** ton of experience from.
Benetton's colours are more united than the Lions' nations. Prove me wrong. The Rainbow Cup - that's the real test of a man
As I've said, it's not just the fact he's playing a sub standard league competition it's this fact coupled with the fact he hasn't played international rugby in over a year. It's both those things together. If the sarries boys had not played international rugby as well as playing in the championship I'd be saying the same thingIf Japan is considered to be a good enough warm up for the Lions.

Well that's crap, probably worthy of its own thread.SA have had three positive tests and gone into isolation.
Wait, has Beard left the Ospreys and moved to the south of France or something? Must have missed that one.it's not just the fact he's playing a sub standard league competition
Excuse me, at least we have the Irish provinces in our league, thank you very much.Wait, has Beard left the Ospreys and moved to the south of France or something? Must have missed that one.
Here's a hypothetical if Kruis was coming back off an 8 month injury but still played for a successful premiership club would you be questioning the suggestion so much?As I've said, it's not just the fact he's playing a sub standard league competition it's this fact coupled with the fact he hasn't played international rugby in over a year.
