[2020 Autumn Nations Cup] England vs France (06/12/20)

Yep. That's pretty much what I was getting at earlier. The majority of the time, we face teams that attack in fairly predictable, formulaic ways. France and to some extent, Italy don't do that. Pace and flair are always way more dangerous and France will have that as well as a good bit of power to boot. Raka basically has all of those in one package if he's on form.

I'm sure a few will scoff at me mentioning that Italians but we rarely nil them and they can score some nice tries with some good offloading etc. on occasion. Yesterday's game against Wales was a good example - Adams was carded at the breakdown that ended a 60m break including two unexpected offloads. If they do that more often, they'll score more tries.

He has previous against the French.

What happened to this Gengey? Seems to have been coached out of him in the past year or so.

I almost want France to win this in the vain hope England get a good shake up so rotate and build like France have been doing. Succession/future planning and expanding to a deep, internationally experienced squad has been something of a disaster... especially in some key positions.

A disaster? Really? I thought England were doing okay...

Hugely over-dramatic.

I'd like to have seen more of Robson, Malins, Willis, Earl and a few others, but we're not flogging players in their mid-30s as Ireland are doing with Sexton or Wales are doing with AWJ,

Fair play France, good job there to get Watson out.

Best kick by England player all Autumn

That's just because Young's isn't that old yet, give it time

France looking like they've come to play, but this is what England have done all Autumn. They'll soak up the pressure, trust their defence and then focus on getting into the right field positions.
