"10 days in advance of the game he posts the thread? He's way too early, the feckin eejit!"

You'd think that right? Well, Italy named their team yesterday...

Ireland are so poor at the moment Conor has tried to spare their blushes by sending in a lot of fringe players. Crivens.

Good to see Campagnaro back in action. Not a terrible XV all things considered. Some depth except in the backline and tight five.

Looks like the squads for the Argentina and Italy matches will be different squads. Should be able to guess the 23 from players who aren't playing this weekend.

I could see us going fully second string team and a loss, or at least a tight game, being on the cards alright. That's a nice backline and not the worst pack in the world either.

If this is a loss by less than 25 then I'll be happy, even if it's an Irish reserves. We'll know if Negri is injured if he isn't playing against Leinster this weekend. I think he had picked up a knock last time out but can't remember.

As expected really. A huge fame for some to try get to Japan

So we're probably looking at

1 McGrath
2 Scannell
3 Porter
4 Beirne
5 Toner
6 Ruddock
7 Van der Flier
8 Conan
9 Cooney
10 Carbery
11 Sweetnam
12 Aki
13 Addison
14 Conway
15 Larmour

16 Cronin
17 Kilcoyne
18 Furlong
19 Roux
20 Murphy
21 McGrath
22 Byrne
23 Ringrose

Maybe swap Ringrose and Addison, not sure why James Ryan was brought along. Don't want to go too experimental or we will probably end up loosing.

It seems to have spread to every match day thread. Such a trend setter AlphaBro.

On a not more serious point, I can't put into word how joyous some of those club names are for players.

- Galwegians (I thought Glasgow had the only weegies)
- Clontarf
- Dolphin

Up there with Mumha! I want Irish expansion in the Pro14 just for the commentary.

Count yourself lucky we don't have Laighin, Mumhan and Uladh as the other three provinces names. (Connacht is in Irish)

If I couldn't fondly and inconveniently call my province Ster I'd be far less happy so avoiding the auld mother tongue (of which I only have a cupla focal) is good by me.
