[2018 6 Nations] Round 5 : England v Ireland (17/03/2018)

Ireland by far the better side, no arguments. But this whole sport is being disgraced by total ineptitude re officiating

Well he was a Shepard by trade, so they probably just made a fair assumption on his nationality.
EDIT: Jesus I can't help myself.
Apparently he was only a shepherd because he was used as one by the Irish slavers that kidnapped him, He was born to a wealthy family this side of the ditch.

Learning about the history of st Patrick has been the only highlight of this afternoon for me

If we ask Ireland nicely can we use our travelling reserves as well?
25 vs 23 might level the playing field a bit, And I wanna see Solomona play. At least he knows how to run support lines and deal with high bombs
Ask the groundsmen to redraw the dead ball line forty metres in front of the English try line so we can't technically score tries.

For the record I think it probably went forward off Robnoxious, but that one at half time went nowhere near his hand and he was being tackled early regardless.

Shouldn't it have been a penalty try even if he hadn't got it down, because of the two lads tackling him without the ball? Which should have meant a yellow card at least. That is provided that he was held before he supposedly knocked the ball on, which I think he was but I'd have to look at it again.

England fans shouldn't be complaining too much about Stockdale's score, that could have worked out much worse for them.

I thought he was from the south west

I literally just googled it and apparently the real answer is: no one knows, he was from Britain and that's where evidence ends

So you're saying he could have been from Ireland?

We were in similar situation in 2013 against the All Blacks and threw it away. This is still England in Twickenham, this game is by no means over not even close, especially if we just sit back and try to defend the lead.

Draw the touchline right in front of the Irish dressing room so you can't technically touch the ball without it being our possession

To be fair I'm looking forward to 40 minutes of torture porn, starting about now

Even if there are a couple of dubious decisions England's discipline is awful and has been all tournament. Far too many easy penalties. For me that's worse than the breakdown issues .

World Rugby have declared the ground to be lava

Farrell got done for being late earlier in the game for that...

Nah. May started the tackle, but when he realised Stockdale hadn't re-gathered the kick, let go as he should.
