[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 1: Scotland vs. Ireland (04/02/2017)

Jackson is so deep. Twined with Scotlands impressive line speed your getting hit 7 meters behind the gainline.

Must add BBC commentary very good. Paulie even seems ok but 3 lads have great chemistry

That was ****ing terrible play from Laidlaw/Strauss
Is the ball is there then use it. You're gonna get turned over or give away a penalty if you fanny around
Edit: 2nd time lucky, but Scotland basically need to be doing 7s scrums where you kick it backwards as hard as you can and trust one of your team mates to get on it

They are giving some big hits, but also missing some still...10-12 channel looked vulnerable in that last attack.

Scotland leaving far too much space in defence, with a very slow line speed off a second phase. They won't be able to do that all game without being punished.

Scotland can't win with this scrum. Cards before long.

EDIT: still think that but kudos to Hogg and the efforts in the loose.

Scrum is about the only thing going right for Ireland at the moment. But it's going really right

I don't know what to make of this...Scottish scrum awful, though doubts about the last penalty. Irish line out awful. Both sides had handling errors. I really think it's a matter of who can eliminate these mistakes quickest. Scotland have taken their chance though and that's why they lead.
