Irish attack looks like a return to the bad old days of 2015/16 where it kept trying to attack back and across the pitch without ever establishing front foot ball from the forwards. There need to be some big flat runners straight off of Murray. Or actually go all the way wide. Don't attack a set defence in midfield.

Well some times it was in open play so I'd argue alot is his idea.

As I said his engine at lock is still unknown and that may contribute

I'd say stander would be 8 before SOB but Heaslip isn't playing bad so doubt he'd be replaced

Yeah, he's not playing instructions at all.

And I'd somehow missed the deletion of the games he's started at lock from history...

Anyway, Ireland playing more direct, success happens. Miracle. Until they went too early straight into midfield and lost the ruck. Ho hum.
