[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 1: England vs. France (04/02/2017)

After watching picamoles today could you imagine how good France would be if all their players didn't play 35 games a year and had a diet consisting of something other than red wine and bread

How are we so poor? Can't pass, maul, work out lineouts. Hopefully half time the hairdryer is out.

Lawes hasn't been great.

Missing Kruis - think he's one of the most underrated components to our pack.

Same for most NH teams

I think the ref is going by the letter he knows from his reaction that May meant absolutely nothing by it and it was purely accidental. Most marginal of yellows.

Based on explanation by Wayne Barnes pre-match discussion the consequences are to be determined by intent.

What was the tacklers intent?
In this instance there was no intent - therefore penalty NOT yellow.
Suspect Angus Gardner being too officious and not using common sense.

Rookie mistake!

Intent is for outcome. Not for pen according to law book which is wrong

What? This Gardener fella is being so Pedantic. WTF that ball is out. What difference does it make if Wood dives on it?
