Waratahs just didn't have an answer despite their season being on the line. It was only during the rain shower that they were really in the game for a sustained period as they could use their extra bulk and the Hurricanes started making handling errors. Hard to see the Waratahs doing much against the Blues either.

First 5 minutes and the canes were up 11. In the context of the final score, it was all that mattered. Games are 80 minutes, but few forget that many games have been won in the first 5. Heads need to be on for 80. Canes clearly a better side, but hardly lit it up. Onus was on warrantahs as has already been stated, and the looked average. Nick Phipps is one average looking scrum half, and Foley looks to have regressed since before the World Cup.
