Ok....watched (what choice with the tv schedules being c***) and got excited in the cycling and delighted that the Russian got beat for obvious reasons!

She really hasn't settled, she's still battling
And yeah, it took me a while to work out that they weren't chanting USA, still haven't worked out what they ARE saying

Never seen someone accelerate so much in the final 100m, went from maybe 6th to 2nd down the straight, it was crazy

The countdown to hashtag MoTime and all the super Saturday talk and videos has made me cringe today but I'm freaking pumped now.
Rutherford has just taken the lead on his third jump, JEH is doing well on the javelin and the 10k has just started.
Thiam bossed the javelin, Jess is going to have to run her absolute best in the 800 to get the Gold (apparently the points difference works out to approximately the difference between Jess's and Thiam's PBs).
Mo got clipped by his ex-team mate and took tumble but he bounced straight back up and looks strong
Greg down to third, I think
Mo gets gold! Looked to be struggling a bit about 2-300m out but cruised past 1st on the last 100!
I'm buzzing, that was class

What a disgrace. Only an Englishman would celebrate being second loser and losing his Olympic title like that. In his defence, he is still 128th on the all time list!
