[2015 RWC] Pool A: Australia vs. Wales (10/10/2015)

The video above doesn't work for me. Can you tell me roughly what time in the match it occured?

Same old bloody story!

Good effort by us but as usual came up short against the aussies, Roberts needs to pass , cuthbert needs to break his leg because gatland just seem hell bent on picking him reminds me if the priestland saga a few years ago, seriously I would rather Nigel walker on the wing. And whathas happened to welsh rugby ? The flair we were once famous for has died, jpr, JJ and Edwards must be so embarrased , that flair would of won us the game today, positives were we nullified a great aussie team, we were better at the breakdown and the scrum wasn't a disaster, hopefully things will get better when Jon Davies and Scott Williams return , hopefully drop roberts and pair those 2 in centre should give us more flair in attack, surely now eli needs to be picked and Cuthbert can go **** himself . as for SA I think we are capable of beating them even with this team and with the right gameplan however I think the boks are better geared to win this match

I am a Saffer living in England and I have got to say while SA are a team on the rise and will have had a few days more rest before QF - I believe Wales can take them! I have the greatest respect for this Welsh side. To my mind they represent everything that attracted me to rugby 45 years ago and kept me playing well into my 40's. While many tier 2/3 sides have lifted their game for the WC - Wales have shown a mettle that I have not seen from any side since SA in 1995.
Sure, they have made some mistakes but for sheer "never say die" attitude they are champions.

I have to admit that if they beat SA I won't be too upset - simply because they deserve it.
Wales - my guilty pleasure!

That period of play is strangely being skipped here in Australia. Hahaha.

It's foul play off the ball, he's done. He's deliberately kneed a guy in the ribs. Compared to Tuilagis incident that was accidentally leading with a knee into a defender. Pocock has no defense, other than the fact the Welsh player was holding on to him, but that might only save him slightly, he's definitely done for the tournament I say, unless they pussy out because he's the inform player of the tournament in the inform team. I'll be right fuming if they pull that BS.

Again foul play costing Australia players, they are cheap shotters, really sick of their dirty cheap shots, it seems endless.

Wow... you really have it in for the Wallabies don't you? No offence, but the only thing this and the Tuilagi incident are evidence of is just how f#cking soft WR are trying to make the game. Neither incident would have got a penalty in Origin or the NRL.

Seriously people, it's a ****ing contact sport.

Hooper is becoming a bit of a serial offender with these sorts of things though isnt he? I actually dont even think its him id be pretty certain Cheika likes to see a bit of this go on and doesnt really mind it as long as they win.

I don't want to go OT, but the way NRL handles dangerous tackles is offensive in this day and age. "Your on report" - whoopy-****ing-doo NRL. Immediate yellow and red cards should be used (obviously).

Anyway, that's my small rant over. Sorry :)

Not really... he's copped what? Two bans in his professional career? Hardly has him marked as the Mark Geyer of Union...

Sanzar you're a pretty good bloke and poster, so don't reinforce my stupid generalization. But you can't seriously deliberately knee a guy in the ribs and expect to get away with it, regardless of it being a contact sport or not, fair play and rules have to exist, otherwise the bloody sport would be UFC 15 v 15.

The NRL is too lenient in some instances, but in Union it's like they're trying to turn us into soccer at the moment. No wonder diving is creeping into the f#cking game.

Besides the major difference here in intent, Pocock has gone out of his way to commit foul play, where as Tuilagis was pretty accidental and innocent.

Wow certain people have short memories.
Only reason we a skirting the rules is because most of the Southern hemisphere wouldnt know fair play if it bit them on the arse.
When in Rome.....

WR may rub him out given what they're doing to the game, but he's reacting to the Welsh bloke holding him back and it's little more than a "**** off" and there's very little in it.

I hope thats Cheikas attitude. He wont have a team left by the time they make the finals! LOL.

And BTW I think its all a load of crap and iv been saying it all year. Im just in here to wind you aussies up.

BTW#2 hopefully Pocock gets a 4-5 week ban that sounds about appropriate to me. LOL.
