2014 Super Rugby: Hurricanes v Cheetahs (Round 5)

Bad defenses = entertaining game

Why Wellington Stadium always has so few people? Considering that's one of the largest cities in NZ, very rare.

Hurricanes really have potential in their backline, their attack is powerful but their defense is very poor

Probably because the Hurricanes have been so poor lately.

Yeah but there are smaller teams like: Force or Rebels that lead more people to their stadiums.

In the last game between Force and Rebels was more people than today in Wellington

Yep, the anti-Hammett feeling/poor results probably haven't helped ... I thought Conrad's 100th Super game, might have enticed a few more people though

Yeah, you're right. So I think it goes beyond the results ...

That yellow card was 50/50, but it certainly should've been a penalty try given the decision they went with.

OMG! Super Rugby baby!

Cory Jane and Victor Vito between people

Bit of a crazy game. Both teams need to work on their defense. Still, it's been exciting to watch!

Hurricanes just need to stop the Cheetahs getting a bonus point now...

Congrats, Canes! For a while there it could have easily gone either way, but it was the Hurricanes who had the legs.

Nice work canes, totally schooled the cheetahs. What happened to the cheetahs of last year?

Just my opinion of course but the reason I don't go anymore is a combination of the following:
Crap atmosphere
Not the greatest stadium
Weather often rubbish
Overpriced
Hurricanes poor form (for longer than I can remember)
& the fact that management over the years have butchered the team. They really have destroyed much of the good faith, the support, the parochialism etc etc

I used to watch (at a different stadium) back in 1997 but have been to only a couple games watching the Canes at the caketin. I did not enjoy either game, both games we lost, crowd was angry and seemed depressed, more boos than cheers, and the Hurricanes we met after each game were mostly d i c k heads.

My 2 cents but I suspect many feel similarly in certain/all aspects

Overpriced? How much is a ticket for a Super Rugby's game?
