lets be having them lads!

be interesting to see what experiments happen this week

I'd love to see an Olding Henshaw centre partnership for this.

Exactly what I was going to say, I reckon they'd be a perfect pairing.

Wonder what we'll see in terms of exprimentation, with so many injuires it hard to say where it should be done. For sure I'd like to see Marmion given a start, and as above Olding. The other probably worth a go is Dave Foley.

I'd agree but I won't be surprised at all to see Reddan and McCarthy start.

Suspect you'll see D'Arcy-Henshaw to solidify the pairing for Australia and Olding on the bench.

I also think thats quite likely, but in my dreams Olding-Henshaw starts this weekend and becomes the new D'Arcy-BOD.

I live to see your dreams shattered. McCarthy, Reddan, D'Arcy and a surprise call up for James Downey.

Love to see these guys regularly play Tier 1, also Japan and the likes as well: so with that in mind,

Come on Georgia!!

Think Peat is right regards D'Arcy and Henshaw. Also I can see Foley playing but can't see wholesale changes as Schmidt will look for continuity.

Sounds like Payne has just got a sprain, which means he may only miss one match at the most.

...France has been playing Tier 1 opposition all year long, didn't see you support them...

you're saying he's lame ? ..but was it in Spain ? And what kind of pain ? Not much for his frame...will he be at the game ? Well this is insane...

Payne will be ok although may be rested for this game. Schmidt has hinted a few will be rested after physicality of SA game and fact it's only 6 day turn around to Oz game.

1 Kilcoyne
2 Strauss
3 Archer
4 Foley
5 McCarthy
6 Diack
7 Henry (if recovered from virus?)
8 Heaslip
9 Marmion
10 Madigan
11 Gilroy
12 Olding
13 D'arcy
14 Zebo
15 Keatley

Personally that's what I would like to see with an eye ahead to Aus, give Henshaw a bit of a rest and D'arcy some game time. Against Australia I'd like to see D'arcy - Henshaw with Olding coming off the benshaw. The latter combo could do some serious damage.

Keatley at 15 because I don't see the point of Jones anymore, I don't see him ever getting near the squad when full strength. I want Ruddock to play the week after too so I think he deserves a rest.

I know this is probably going to be a lot different to what Schmidt will actually play, but excluding the wings, which can interchange, that is definitely a backline I would like to see, maybe Henshaw in if he is fit enough to play all 3 tests.

Edit: Did I really type 'benshaw'?

I think on the 7 jersey TOD will start. If Henry just has virus (which is still very hush hush according to my contacts) there's no way he will have recovered enough.
I think if D'Arcy is in it'd have to be with Henshaw IF both are to play against Aus. Question is who'd be 12? Payne surely won't give up jersey easy either.
Regards 15. Felix is good if he starts joining line but he's hesitant lately. I'd love someone like Zebo or Gilroy thrown in at 15 just because they're exciting and will attack

I think Ireland will go into this in cruise control, just thinking they'll try out new things against this opposition of a lower level than last week's...but will subconsciously be turned on by Georgia's flag and colors, somewhat reminiscent of a certain regular foe, and will atavistically unleash the seething fury of the ancient Celtic spirit only to wake up from a savage relentless frenzy 80 minutes and the same amount of points later to find a steaming pile of sore opponents on the ground.
