[2013 TRC] New Zealand vs South Africa in Auckland (14/09/2013)

Don't you just love the prelims to this game.....Steve Hanson who, it appears to me, has never smiled or shown any excitement in his life......The SA manager somewhat over the top singing the national anthem and, of course, the gurning competition that is the Haka before the main event, in rugby terms, of the year with the AB's against their only real challengers!

Bring it on.................

That makes up for all the dodgy off the ball tackles by SA in history. That was a bullcrap call by the ref there!

SA pretty hard done by. Aaron Smith hospital pass.

The old fashioned square dance ending in a ridiculous yellow card.....even the NZ commentators cannot see it!

...............and Poite is the best French ref so you can see what we have to put up with week in week out............

You know the ref got it wrong when Marshall et al think the Boks have been hard done by. Poite just ignored the TMO there.

No he didn't. Listen to the question he asked. He was asking about foul play AFTER the tackle.

Still, that is a ridiculous yellow card. Nothing wrong with that tackle!

See??? I'm learnin'!!

;)

Jus...I mean, das

I am beginnin to think that Justin has had a heart transplant as that is the second time in 5 minutes he has backed the SA players in a 50;50 situation!!

Great try.....there is only winner in this game unless they blow it as it is the AB's to lose...................

Boks D is the worst i have seen. If we break this game up they are going to be in a world of hurt.

I replayed it a couple times. He should have had the TMO look at the tackle, but he didn't. I think the reason why is because, from his angle, it probably looked like a clearly high shoulder charge, just based on the tackler's body language (at first that's what it looked like to me, at least). On replay I could see the arm go around Carter's back, but if I had been on the ground watching in real time I probably wouldn't have seen it.
