[2013 TRC] Australia vs. Argentina in Perth (14/09/2013)

Wallabies are my favourite of the tri-nations, but you've got to love an underdog:
Gooooo Argentina!

I hope the Argies win here, would be really awesome for them if they can finish 3rd on the log

Why are there so few people at the Perth's Stadium???

I'm just hoping for a nice, well-officiated, uncontroversial game with no potential for ****-flinging on this thread. :p

I would love to stay up for this, but need to catch another hour or two of sleep. I do wish Argentina the best, though. Need to see them get a win under their belts if just for confidence-sake.

Well Nigel Owens should ensure the officiating is of a good standard but there will always be controversy as each sides' supporters will see his decisions and incidents from differing viewpoints!!

That being said, Poite is usually good and has been vilified for one (albeit huge) mistake!

Great start by the Pumas......can they keep it up for the game?

First blood Argies! 3-0

Excited for them, comon boys!

lol everybody wants Argentina to win....poor Wallabies !
I like the Wallabies, but yeh, VAMOS ARGENTINA !!!

Good start for both teams there tbh..

- The Weather
- The Wallabies' recent form
- They're playing against Argentina. It's usually the Springboks who play in Perth.
- It's in Perth, which, from what I've heard, isn't a particularly big rugby city

I'd be surprised if there were more than 25,000 people there.

and it shows.....compared to Eden Park this is like playing in a cemetery!! Would be a different thing if the Boks were playing as they seem to have more supporters living there than anywhere else in 'Stralia.........................

Refs missing some off the ball - Hooper did a WWF clothesline on a player a few minutes ago.

If I remember correctly, the same stadium was full to the British Lions tour...

That was different, mainly 'cos it was the Lions (a special and unique draw to fans) and it was a Force game, which made it more special to the fans.

Surely the Aussies are not going to win this one by pick up and drive against this committed Argie team.......they must use their backs who have to be the best part of their team?
