I don't know. Someone said on another forum that Spain has decided not to include in the team for one year those players who have refused convocations once. That would include most of the missing players, who are professionals playing in France and have refused to go to the Namibia tournament in November due to club commitments. I don't know if that is true though.

Indeed, Spain has used a lot of ancestry-qualified French players last year, and it has been a big boost to their strength. In 2011, Spain lost 0-60 to Georgia and 8-64 to Romania. In 2012, with the French players in the team, Spain won 25-18 vs Georgia and 13-12 vs Romania. We will see how they do this year, with many (but not all) of those players missing (in the first match, at least).

Spain is worst than last year team but I think Russia too. Georgia and Rumania are the best teams and they'll be in RWC2015 while other teams (Belgium included) are at similar level...

It is disrespectful to the players and fans. Demand to ban the winter games ENC in Russia!

still avaiting for Romania to line up our best xv... meanwhile we can only suppose what it will happen . however i dont see spain and portugal yet to be able to qualify , meanwhile belgium remains unknown to me. the first 2 teams will remain Romania and Georgia and all will be decided in the direct match . also curious till next year to see who will win the Antim Cup

Did The ENC just get whole lot more interesting ? Can Belgians stay and potentially kick out one of the Iberian teams ? It has been some time since we've had some new blood... the promoted teams are performing better year after year.... Ukraine did better than Germany and Belgium so far seems stronger than Ukraine .. and they say promotion/relegation system won't do any good.... pure bullpoop!

First of all we have to admit that Georgia didn't play at it's best level.
Nevertheless the level reached actually is the result of 8 years of hard work at each level of the national teams from the youngsters to the first team. Some young belgian players are gaining experience in the french championship (even if none of them are at the top 14 level) and the team is increasing it's level year after year.
