[2013 EOYT] England

God I hate Hartley, those glasses!

if Webber still injured then? Who is our second choice now? Buchanan?

There hasn't been any announcement, I just noticed the photo in my customary Getty images search.*
So he may still be in contention.
I don't think Webber's injury is that serious, it's more of a precaution afaik because we've just got Guinazu back from TRC and can afford not to play him.

*For those about to ask why I do that, it should be self explanatory at this point.

True enough.
Same goes for Robshaw, though.
17st5 and I'd back Danny Care/Tom Williams to make more yards in traffic than him.

Cup final vs Toulon 2014
Its the 80th minute and Harlequins are camped on the Toulon tryline line, trailing by 4 points. A ferocious series of rucks have battered against the Toulon defenders for 8 phases when a valiant Chris Robshaw turns to Danny Care who is alone at the back of the breakdown.
'Danny, this is where a boy becomes a man. I'm gonna need you to pick and go this one.'
'But...why?'
'Well Olyy from the rugby forum would back you or Tom Williams to make more yards in traffic than me'
Danny Care accepts his miserable fate in a moment, embracing him like a blanket of horror encroaching upon his frail TOWIE-like body and embarrasing haircut. Looking around to his fellow attackers, stained with the blood and sweat of 80 minutes toil, he utters his final formalities, 'Good luck, gentlemen'. Wiping the single tear from his cheek, he looks at the mud-blotted egg that lay steady before him. With the words of 'Olly from the rugby forum' ringing in his ears, Danny posessed the ball and - cradling it as he would a small child, that may or may not have been his - set off into the mist and fog as the red and black massess lunged mercilessly towards him.
*Crunch*

It's a nice story, but we all know Robshaw would wait for the penalty, then take the 3 points ;)

I think it's cute that someone thinks Quins could hypothetically be in a Cup Final. We're about as likely to do that as I am likely to go to the moon.

don't speak too soon, youngling...or you might find yourself waking up naked on the moon in a few months...Muphey's law is cruel, and without boundary.

To be honest I'd be happy to both watch Quins reach and final and go to the moon.

Also, by then Quins would have been pinged for spending more than five seconds at the base of the ruck ;)

Loving The Rugby Club onn Sky with Horgan, Sanderson and Greenwood..................what a great threesome of guys who know what they are talkmig about!

Horgan was a bit shaky at the Castres game last week, mind you.

Aside from Horgan clearly blagging it about players outside of Ireland I thought that was a good discussion.

We shall see Rats, we shall see.......2/3 for England should not be over optomistic this close to a RWC only 18 months away?

I think Sky have purposely tried to up the optimism in their analysis.

Which is hilariously out of character considering how Barnes and co love to crap on England from a great height and expect us to say thanks for the hat...

Ah but no Barnes, no Morris, no Quinnell, no Evans..............in fact no idiots!!

I'm not saying their prediction is optimistic.
The tone of their analysis overall is... more so than it has been for a long time.
