2013 America's Rugby Championship

What do you think about Teros performance against The Jaguares (Argentina A)? Do you still think they can win the playoffs?

Uruguay fielded an understrength side in that game as I beleive they are more targetting the U.S.A. match. They held their own for the first half hour but fell off quickly after that. They also really need a goal kicker I think they are only 2 from 8 on goal kicks with a badly missed drop goal in there as well. It will be more revealing how they play against the States, as it's also clear that Canada's side at this years ARC, is pretty dour.

If you are a Canada fan, seriously don't bother unless you had family playing in the match.

If you do have blood relation that played, go to youtube, type in 'Rugby Canada Communications' and they will have an archived feed of the match.

Is there a way to watch the last game live?

You mean the Jaguars vs. Canada game? Here is the link...

It will be on the youtube channel that canadafan posted, I can post them here also since they are official, you didn't miss much in either game on Tuesday, Uruguay fielded an understrength side and Canada were dour.

It hasn't been mentioned but the Jaguars have already clinched the tournament with 10 points they can't be caught even if the U.S.A. (who have 4 points) crush Uruguay and Canada(who have 4 points as well) pull their heads out of thier bums against Argentina.

Canada's side has been announced...Parfrey has been brought into the side to come in at FH. No real suprises otherwise, I'm not really expecting a lot, hopefully the guys can just get the basics right, run a simple game plan and try to keep this one close. It's really about pride and at least we need to fight physically in the breakdown and in the set pieces.

Crowley really has ****ed up at 10 the past few years, he can't decide on who to develop there.

Agreed, it's been sort of a consensus of mediocre....ever since Monro retired it's been very messy and no continuity. We've had Evans, Braid, Hirayama, Jones, and Underwood start full tests, with Fitzpatrick, Du Toit and Parfrey now getting runs out in the ARC as well.

Tolkin is an idiot.

I think Underwood has shown the most promise at 10, and should get more starts there.

Just watched the Canada game. Their fly half was woeful, passes flying everywhere. Can't say any of that team put themselves in line for caps in November. Trainor and perhaps Flagg maybe?

Yeah thats what I'm thinking as well, maybe Mackenzie gets on the bench at SH, and Wilson-Ross/Dolesau might show up in the Moari game. The Uruguay game was almost just as bad with a decent final twenty salvaging disaster.

The FH was so bad I don't even know how to evaluate White, it's hard to rate his performance when his FH had been thrown into the fire by the coaching staff and was simply not up to the standard of play at the ARC.Many of White's passes went to nowhere as Du Toit was running the wrong line. The Locks besides Flagg have been poor, and most surprisingly the loose forwards have been muscled by the opposition at the breakdown.

Also if someone loses the kicking tee again they should be barred for life from rugby in Canada.

I thought Wooldridge and Scholz have gone well too.

Yeah I totally overlooked Wooldridge there(any confirmation on his French club?), Scholz has been a mixed bag for me he was better late on against the U.S.A. but considering he's just back from injury he has been decent and should be considered for November.

So far I can see only 2-3 players that have actually upped their stock with this ARC, even some of the other guys who've done allright are only playing to previous standards. That might be the worst part of this ARC is the lack of emergence of any real talent like the last couple of times around.

Fitzpatrick and Wilson-Ross are the only new guys who have stepped up. I think Mackenzie has done well too, unlike others on this forum.

Hmm, I personally would give Patricio Fernández more minutes in this team.
