After a dour first half things did pick up in the 2nd half as the U.S. appeared to have broken the game open with three tries in fairly quick succesion, but full credit to Los Teros who showed a lot of fight back in the final twenty to claim their own try and they really had a chance to make it a grandstand finish had they just had that final touch in a few instances.

United States Selects 20-8 Uruguay FT (3-3 HT)

United States
Tries: Chapman, Barrett, L'Estrange
Conversions: Cowley 1(3)
Penalty: Cowley 1(2)
Yellow Card: Barrett

Uruguay
Try: De Freitas? (Need clarification)
Conversion: Prada 0(1)
Penalty: Prada 1(1)

Uruguay will finish fourth with only a losing bonus point vs. Canada, US should finish 2nd unless Canada win a bonus point victory over the Jaguars....and well that's not going to happen.

Is someone filming this match on their IPhone? :D. They almost missed Canada's first try.

Wow we've showed up!!!! Scholz with a good try, Barkwill, Wooldridge, Trainor have been on fire, making tackles all over the place...oddly enough Canada's player that is struggling the most out there so far is Dolesau who was great in the first two games.

These streams are always awful, this one is actually better than most to be frank...whats driving me nuts the most is the replay graphic being ten times louder than the commentators.

I thought Dolesau was pretty rubbish against USA. Failed to finish a clear run in for a try with an odd needless dummy then cost 5 points with an ill fated counter attack running into a prop at the end. Cost at least 10 points.

Dolesau has missed a pile of tackles tonight already, with that run at the end of the US game I think he was desperately trying to make something happen but yeah it was a bizarre decision. Parfrey 1000 times better than Du Toit was he's actually distributing the ball!!

I have come to expect low standards with theses streams. This is comfortably better than the USA Canada PNC game, or the same fixture in 2012. The worst though is Russia, their coverage of their game with Spain was awful and I heard they received several complaints from fans about it. ... all 10 of them.

Not a great five minutes, Fitzpatrick getting a yellow our scrum being annhiliated, and than letting a tackler through a gap where the 15th man would have been.

I enjoyed the camera randomly flickering over to fans returning to their seats after patronizing the beer stand, I thought it added to the ambience of that match :D

What is Russia's problem with getting fans access to their games(aside from the obvious climate issues), it's not even like anyone is actually there in person either!! I wasn't even that upset when I found out they got stuck with neutral site games for November as they are liklier to have more fans in Colwyn Bay than in Sochi.

On an aside I've been impressed with the quality of Uruguay Rugby's official website, for a Tier three side it is regularly updated and is fairly informative, Tonga hasn't updated their website since the 2011 RWC.

Fitzpatrick is having a shocker. Yellow card, two penalites have landed short, than messed up a possible try situation with a knock on there.

I thought Parfrey has looked a bit out of his element too. At least Barkwill and Kleeberger are bouncing back, though.

Wow great intercept try by Trainor, let's close this out with a win boys!!! If for some better goal kicking this could have been a tied game or we could have had the lead. Think commentators getting ahead of themselves about a BP, let's just try and get a result.

The commentators were awful all tournament. Much better from the boys today, I blame the loss against the U.S. On our coaches. They made some awful selections for that match and selected a much better side today.

The guys brought the intensity level up a lot today as well, I feel bad saying this as he's a young player but a better game from Fitzpatrick and we might well have narrowly come away with this, his card and missed penalties left a lot of points on the board, also heard it was a sellout today which is good news for the event.
