Well enough, but nothing special. Went off early, along with all of the tight five bar one.

Finally good to see a future Irish pack that may be actually able to front up against the top nations. Let's not forget this pack also beat France in France and ran England pretty close. Henderson seems to be putting consistently top class performances for his age and Ireland's skill at the breakdown look to be world class for this age level. Hopefully they keep it up!

On the positive side, McLeod is no longer the worst scrum half in South Africa.

It was one of the worst displays by a South African representative team I've ever seen!

very very poor! I cheered along with the crowd when they took off that pathetic scrummie, only to be replaced my an ever worse scrummie.

Paul Jordaan needs to put his inflated ego aside and play f****ing rugby!! If I was the coach I'd let him walk back to Durban!!
Tony Jantjies was okay at fly-half but needs to learn to kick with his left foot too as he got caught way too often and then just put it in the Irish hands. Our kicking in general was **** poor!

Kudo's to Ireland though, they outmuscled, outwitted, and outplayed the boks in every facet, that's why there should be a tribal council for the Boks in the coming days.

The Irish fly half was immensely good in everything, Ronan O'Gara can now retire from all rugby

Did you see the sub scrum half's reaction after having his kick charged down for the second Ireland try? He didn't even chase back, just stood there and threw his arms in the air. Very unprofessional and deserves a serious talking to for that.

Yeah! Dawie Theron should just ignore the law that you are not allowed to punish other parent's kids and whip out his shambok and give all those guys a proper spanking! Way too many ego's and not enough rugby!!

Just saw the result, actually cannot believe it....what happened?

We outsmarted and outfought the 'boks. Simple guerrilla war tactics. It's quiet obvious IMO that the S.A. were expecting it to be a walkover and that all they had to do was turn up. The looks on their faces showed this. They couldn't believe it. I guess that's what happens when you get put on a pedestal.

Superb performance by the lads in green and well i know people will put it more to the poor South African performance but our lads were immense and really imposed ourselves on the Boks

Played against him haven't you?
He is no Jack Dixon. Lad.

Yeah played him as part of a team of 15/16 year olds first match together. Against a Cardiff semi pro team of 17/18 year olds. Not nice.

Yeah, he is a big lad.
He was a fullback for the U18's but moved to midfield recently. Not sure where he will end up.

From what I saw I'd bet on the centre maybe 13 as he does have good pace about him.

We were playing in white ;)

That's what I was thinking. To be a crash-ball 12 you have to be bloody good at it (Roberts, Nonu). Allen doesn't have the distribution to make it effective. That being said, he set Luke Morgan up for a beautiful try v Scotland.

Well done to Ireland!

For us, I thought we were only okay. Taufua, Keresoma were good. The fowards were dominant overall but I didn't think we were that inspiring.

Yep, well done Ireland though I will point out that the Boks didn't have 3 starting SupeRugby players in the tight 5 as someone said. They had 1 starting SupeRugby player and 2 players who have had a few minutes. Still, it is a huge win for Ireland.

For NZ I thought we played alright. It was our first game so I wouldn't expect them to click straight away. Emery was probably the stand out player. To be honest, I think he is probably better than some of the centres we have playing SupeRugby. Keresoma was pretty good as was Ahki. I think Heenan was very hard working as was Tupou. I think Taufua is decent at what he does but from that I rate Tupou and Heenan as better players. Was it just me or was Bryn Hall a bit slow to get the ball out at times (he seemed to disappear a bit, too). Curtis was good in defense but I don't think he'll end up being much more than a provincial player at best.

I look forward to seeing Tu'ungafasi getting some more game time (hopefully against the Welsh). I hope he gets some game time for Auckland. He couldn't possibly do worse than Mailau.
