    England vs Australia - 09/11/24

True that, with that said I don’t have a huge problem with however draws work out, bottom line is to be considered the best you have to be prepared to take on all comers, if you can’t get out your group you realistically have 0 chance of winning the thing, sure draws make things harder in many...

    England vs Australia - 09/11/24

Thanks you OZ for the late score, did us a solid in not allowing cracks to be plastered over with a narrow win, things surely have to change now.

    England vs Australia - 09/11/24

Better team won, atleast England will have to answer some questions, narrowly squeaking a win in a game were we’re pretty poor would do England no long term favours, I think we have learned Ford has no place in the squad, SB needs to go and Slade needs replacing, Underhill should be somewhere in...

    England vs Australia - 09/11/24

Is it just me or are England really missing someone like underhill who puts in huge shots and swings momentum.

Feel like Randell could make a huge difference in attack, almost doing what their 9s done to England create a tempo the opposition cannot live with, I did rate Spencer highly but his best years are behind him and sometimes there’s no substitute for pace and tempo.

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Yeah indeed to have specific numbers to give cards would go a long way to negating the inconsistencies, there may then be a reluctance to issue pens when they stack up preventing cards who knows. I hear you but if NZ set the stall out like they did go for goal every time rather than go for the...

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Agree with most of this but for the most part I’d argue Ireland did adapt to the ref probably could have communicated with the ref better with the lineout closing NZ were guilty of, if the ref decided to actually ref the offside line and breakdown and enforce cards as suggested he would in the...

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Think this nz team is a bit underrated to be honest, they are not vintage all dominating NZ of old, the way I see it SA are like NZ use to be then you have France, Ireland ABs all fairly evenly matched, with England and Scotland best of the wrest.

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Another pen, no card, Ireland just prevent any momentum which could lead to a try, ref needs to grow a pair.

So we warn about laying in there and cards then forget that in the second half.

Make it up in the day so it would seem.

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Fml is berry making the rules up as he goes along, Ireland so lazy constantly getting in the 9s way lying in the ruck, then extended knock on advantage which should end after a kick.

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

ref completely ignoring Irelands almost constant offside and slowing the ball, Ireland playing really smart and getting away with it.

    Ireland v New Zealand - 8 November 2024

Well kind of but if your running back and have more chance of winning the ball than the player behind how can it be a penalty?

How is that ever a pen come on…

    England v New Zealand - 2 November 2024

Agreed but saying Furbank is only advantageous over Steward in attack is disingenuous IMHO, I instantly think of times BB and VDM have shown up his serious lack of pace, once these things become known they are targeted exasperating the limitation.

Think it is pretty sure Scotland were at home against us this year, I wouldn’t be suprised if we won that one by all accounts still don’t see us finishing above 3rd, both Ireland and France probably beat England 8 out of 10 times currently.

    England v New Zealand - 2 November 2024

My issue with Fords tackle attempt wasn’t so much the outcome these things happen, Telea is exceptionally talented, it’s simply how half hearted and passive it was considering the obvious miss match size and power wise he needed to atleast attempt more.

    England v New Zealand - 2 November 2024

Based on games post 6 nations I don’t fancy England against Ireland or France, Scotland have had our number for a while, honestly not convinced we get any better.

    Australia again

I mean 10s a pretty key role and I don’t see how an Irishman can claim that given the other available FHs.
