It should be of no interest to the ref whether applying a law or not affects the outcome of a game in a certain situation, as it could be argued the whole game decides the result. He can't pick and chose when . Why was the last try scrutinised so deeply yet Quins first not reviewed at all ,yet...
Anyone thinking Quins were hard done by watch Greens pass to Murley for their first try. Murley is clearly ahead of Green when ball leaves his hands. Forwards by 2m.
Thought it was a brilliant team try from the moment Quins ****** up their LO.
Funny how none of the comm team ,Ugo, Kay or or...
Assuming Tigers don't get past Clermont, they will already have 3 blank weekends to rest players.
Not sure 'resting' players in the remaining 2 games in 6 weeks is the best way to prime them for a SF.
Not sure Sarries should be worrying too much about who they play in a SF. Assuming they don't reach the Challenge final ,anyone 'rested' for the last game (Gloucs) would have a 3 week rest. Surely their best prep would be to go full bore in prep for the SF.
Not sure there will be much 'resting' of players come last couple of games unless they are in SF or final of Europe.
If not they will only have 1 game in 5/6 weeks before the last weeks games.
Didn't understand that either. Would have thought taking a restart would give them a chance of a win. .Not sure a BP will help them much
Like I said beforehand SAle needed a win to realistically finish top 4.
Anyway Chiefs win puts them 11 pts above bottom 6 so all is good.
Think its a must win for SAle to have any chance of top 4 with their next games being Gloucs, Quins, and Sarries with a resurgent (relatively) Bath in between..
Gloucs looking in good position for poss top 2 playing 6 out of bottom 7 in next 6 games.
They needed a converted try to win. Chances are they wouldn't get a better chance. Taking 3 and hoping to get another pen for a draw is unfathomably negative.
Disappointing to lose that conceding 2 tries in last 2 mins.
Can't see Chiefs in top 4 now, especially with all players away.
Promising players coming through if today is anything to go by.
Can see Maunder jnr overtaking Maunder snr soon.
I didn't realise a simple single digit would create so many responses.
There's plenty more where that came from so keep watching for more digits coming soon
