As someone who hasn't watched much of him, do people think that Underhill is ready for Test Match Rugby right now or does he still need time?

Different sports - doesn't matter. Te'o played for Samoa in RL.
**** capping Solomona though.
One break does not a player make
Yeh I'm not saying cap him I just wondered if the residency started when you move to the country or when you started playing union in that country
36 months permanent residence. So spending even a full calendar month back in NZ would reset the 3 years, but if he hasn't done that, then he must be nearly qualified. Your occupation is entirely separate from your status as resident.
Idle and completely OT question for the league guys here - how many guys in the England RL team could/would make the RU team if they converted and genuinely put their back into it for a good three year period or so?
Harrison back as well which is a little disappointing.
That being a big enough list to not really mean much for selection news is even more disappointing.
Source for it?
Just got home after spending the day at Pennyhill Park training with a few of the England Squad. This was courtesy of Natwest Rugby Force and a couple of our club guys putting us forward to be selected.
Really enjoyed the day, although too much running for my taste!
The players that were working with us were Kyle Sinckler, Nathan Hughes and Henry Slade. Plus two other Natwest rugby coaches who played the host role.
What I was most impressed with, was the extra effort all three of them kept adding in. They didn't just play the part that I assume they are contracted to. But each one of them took extra time, actively added extra little sessions, extended time after for one on one coaching for specialist roles, and were starting the silly banter and just very genuine.
Kyle in particular was excellent, he led our forwards training, and was very clear and assured, whilst Nathan sort of played the sidekick.
Kyle also ran the tour of the Pennyhill facilities, which as you could imagine with RFU resources, are excellent. Half an indoor pitch with above cameras and wall screens for immediate analysis of jump heights, scrums etc...
It was interesting to hear that Eddie ran a session, similar to Lancasters, playing very high volume crowd and music. But did this indoors this time, and added red smoke bombs!
We also walked past the office rooms, and Kyle asked us to be quiet as Eddie was in there, and we didn't want to get into trouble.
We also met briefly with a few other players in the gym area; Maro, Lawes, and Mako. Good to see Mako back!
Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble, just wanted to share in case anyone found it a little interesting.
Kyle always comes across as a very cool guy and good ambassador for the sport, does/did some coaching (with Guildford?).
