definitely injuries for Perpignan. Notably Camille Lopez, newly brought after a very good season with the UBB that saw him being capped for the first time with France (in NZ) - and Sofiane Guitoune, who likely would've finished the season as best try-scorer (held the record for even months after his injury and being away from the pitches).

As for Bloody Opeless, aka Biarritz Olympique, wait for Tony to see this, I'm sure he'll give you a tasteful summary.

....and more ammunition to the anti-money brigade, they would seem to have two out of the three best academies in France according some sources....

Even were it correct, I would not use that to argue that BO, at least, failed because of that nor accept the arguments being used by the players that they were the cruel victims of injuries this season.

BO have been heading for relegation for at least the last three years and possibly as many as five due to their lack of management and their inability to get the players who were not too big for their boots, and would gel and play for each other week in and week out rather than just the money or their personal prestige!

As for Bloody Opeless, aka Biarritz Olympique, wait for Tony to see this, I'm sure he'll give you a tasteful summary.

For what its worth , I would probably like Montpellier to win the Bouclier
and after Boudjellal making his classless announcement 20 mins after
the final whistle , I would like Toulon to win f**k all !

Can agree with most of that just hope they reappear after next season but its a tough league to get out of.

personally I'm happy with Montypellier, Toulouse, Toulon or Clermont winning it.

I don't even think Toulouse winning would be that redemptive or salutary because it doesn't change everything else that has happened the last couple of seasons. It doesn't change the crappy games they lost, the H Cup Connacht affair, getting smashed like into a crepe in Munster...etc...the problems are still there. But it would shut a few mouths, and it'd be nice for the franchise to show they're still here and strong.

Montypellier I'd love to see them lift the shield. Captain FTD and Galthié, those two have been exemplary this year. I'm watching the MP Racing game right now, and they're just the right amount of class on paper but chemistry on the pitch, good structure, they've answered the call in the face of adversity...a true class act this season.
The only problem is that they've got some very strange middle-aged chap who squats their website they can't get rid of, absolutely infatuated with them, more than is healthy, and has exuberance that turns on the bizarre...

Clermont so ppl would shut up about choking, for their sake - however true that choking label is.

Toulon so Jonny can be happy, and so that they could possibly win both titles in one season.
