Portugal know they're safe kicking loosely to Wales because Halfpenny is slower than most props these days
Tbf the vibe I was going for was 'honest, decent pro who wouldn't set the world alight at Pro 14 level' and naturally my mind went to an English player

It's def the football expected goals stat that adds nothing. I'd say they contracted the likes of PFP for it

Portugal's style reminds me of Japan v SA. Earlier in the development without the killer instinct but a great way for a minnow to play ball.

Yeah, pretty clear cut playing the ball on the floor - tackled player went to offload and tackler slapped it out of his hands
