You have to copy these files of the Super Patch to a clean Rugby 08 main folder and not to one where you have a MUP or any other patches installed. You can do this by copying the folder of where you installed Rugby 08 and pasting it in another location, then select all the files that you put in there from the MUP and delete them(all the .big, .fsh, .xml, .rsg files ect...),only files that should remain is the rugby08.exe,rugby.ico files and all the other folders. Then copy all the files from the Super Patch and paste them in the main folder of your new clean rugby 08 location and start the game from the rugby08.exe in that folder.By doing this you won't have patches overriding each other and you can have multiple patch on your pc at once like the Super Patch, MUP,SANZAR Patch ect...only bad-ish thing is that it takes up space on your pc's hard drive.
Hope this helps.
Gee, this patch is absolutely awesome, it really is a SUPER patch!
Just a few things, though, that I noticed while playing the first couple of matches. I installed your patch over Uli's MUP, and a few things got messed up (ie. flags and supporters' boards are still those from French Top14, as are tv screens, a few wrong faces ecc). Should I re-install your files in an empty folder or you have some integration of Super14 flags and things?
For what concerns the faces, as I already said in some other thread, it would be really helpful to have a list of all new faces with names, filenames and ID numbers, because if you tweak some stats with the editor things may get messed up quite easily and with such a list, one could quickly restore right faces. For example, the first couple of faces I noticed are Johnny Leota (has someone's white face - might have to do with interference with MUP files), Dwayne Sweeney (has David Lemi's face, so either the ID is wrong or there's a file missing), Tanerau Latimer (has Brendon Leonard face, but again may be MUP interference).
Sorry for being picky right from the start, it's just a feedback, no criticism at all. Take your time, you really earned a rest.
I was stunned to see so many new faces, you were keeping them secret, eh eh eh.
Great work, awesome patch![/b]
