Kingi nominated for iRB Junior Player of the Year

QR Reds half Richard Kingi scored 49 points for Australia at the Junior World ChampionshipsMonday, 22 June 2009
QR Reds scrumhalf Richard Kingi was one of four players nominated for the International Rugby Board’s World Junior Player of the Year after accumulating 49 points for Australia at the Under 20 World Championships in Japan.

The nomination capped off an already impressive year for Kingi, who represented the QR Reds and Australian Sevens team earlier this season.

Kingi was nominated alongside eventual winner Aaron Cruden and Winston Stanley from New Zealand and Carl Fearns from England.

Cruden received the award on the final day of the tournament, which saw New Zealand eventual 44-28 winners over England in the final, while Australia slipped to a 32-5 loss to South Africa in the third place playoff.

Kingi’s Junior World Championship campaign included a record breaking 26 point individual haul in Australia’s 86-0 Pool D win over Canada.

The 20-year-old Sunnybank product played in two Super Rugby games for Queensland this season after making his debut late in year against the Crusaders in Christchurch.


Hey Xusky you scored the 4 try bonus point AGAIN, excellant updates! Could you think about doing a Richard Kingi. He is having a career year and I think he will be challenging Lucus and Genia for a starting spot next year. It would be cool to have him and the mod would be pretty easy just a few modifications to your cooper and you have kingi. I'm preparing for my Tour of Optimism where I make my 2010 Reds Team and play what would be my dream season before it becomes the nightmare season in real life next year.

Xusky, I've just tried your faces in game, but instead of Fitzgerald's it appears to be David Lemi's face. Have I got something wrong?

Wallace looks great anyway.

Anyone else experiencing this? Seems to work fine for me. Try download it again and assign it in editor then save and quit without doing anything else.

The reason it may show Lemi is because I have used my David Lemi face as 666 which is Mr Crash, in other words when a face doesnt load it will automatically show face 666. In this case, David Lemi.

I've also got that with the Fitzgerald face, have you got another ID it can be assigned to?

I have uploaded it again from scratch, maybe it was corrupt. It seems to work fine for me using this assigned number and this is how we have done all the others. If anyone has it working please post.

Xusky, I've done what you suggested, but no results: still David Lemi instead of Fitzgerald. Moreover, I've got the same problem with Scott Waldrom.

Could you doublecheck the file names and the id's to assign, maybe the problem is just a wrong number there. In fact, I've tried to change filenames and id's to ones I already knew to be working and Fitzgerald appeared. For Waldrom's face, instead, I've noticed he has the same filename as Wallace (and also the same face). So, have a check there.

The other faces work properly.

I have uploaded Waldrom again and checked files,they are all correct as far as i know. Something maybe getting screwed up though in my rosters. Will have to take a closer look.

Ross can you confirm any of these are wrong or working fine? or anybody else?

Now Waldrom is fine (and it looks great too!), but Fitzgerald still doesn't show.
This is the namefile I have 487384bb9779058ca1375cf154e00495.big and 2471 is the ID number I assign. One of the two must be incorrect, cause if you assign the file another name and ID, then it works.

Sorry to bother you again, mate. It's a great job you're doing, really.

I will have take a closer look. It might be that I just assign him a different number and generate a different .big file. Maybe tomorrow as I am over looking at the screen tonight. Will upload tomorrow morn.

Ok, now it works perfectly. So, the problem was with the ID number, just a switch between seven and four. The one by Intercept King JdV is correct: 2741.
