Wilkinson or Flood?

Not a lot, ones on the left wing (11) and one's on the right (Ashton)
Usually corresponds to which hand/foot is their main, so their passing in field is off of their strong hand, and their kicking corresponds to their strongest foot
Ashtons first start was in the 11 shirt, I think, then him and Cueto switched and it's stuck that way since

11 or 14 always seems to fit certain players. I always found it very weird to have Robinson or Lewsey wearing 14 for England, whereas it suits Ashton... but that's just me!

I would pick Wilko every day. I just don't like Flood. Last week against Wales would have been different with Wilkinson on the field. Anyway I still think Wilkinson(if reasonably fit) will start on the big games. I don't see Johnson gambling over this choice. Youngs/Wilkinson could very much challenge for best scrum/flyhalf combo come the RWC.

I dislike Flood, somehow I think he's a bit non-stable scorer

Meanwhile I enjoy Wilkinson play even today at his age

To be honest, during the 6 nations i thought youngs and flood were going to win us the world cup, however looking at their form towards the end of the 6N and the premiership it was clear that, unfortunately this was not to be the case. Gutted for Care, definatly stepped up in the two warm ups. Would like to see Simpson get a run out against ireland. But Wilko just seems to step up when it comes to worlds cups, at the moment id say the 10 shirt is in his hands

Wilkinson for me. He may not be the player he use to be but he has experience and has a game head under pressure. He is brilliant in defence and still has outstanding skills. Not to mention his ability to keep the score board ticking and edge out tight games. Flood has lost it at the moment and even though he is a quality player he really can't control the game well.

Flood is the better all round player but Wilko is the one that can kick it and he has the experience of having won a World Cup Final before.
