Who'll win the next RWC ?

that's the job of the national coach. Posing for the camera. He does the media conference & press releases as well. Imagine how busy he is.

hehehe !...well then he's one hell of a coach 'mon pote', whatcha complaining about Saint-André for ?!!

Since we're on this thread, let me ask you this, and please answer with absolute objectivity. Do you think there is any way, any way at all, France will make it to the final next year (provided knowing PSA will be there, and our team with its current selections, i.e. no FTD, an aging Mas and Dusau, etc...) ?

LOL, like that has stopped Samoa before. I don't know if he is in fact elligible but I think he would probably be high on Samoa's list by now with some fantastic performances for the Highlanders and probably not in line for a black jersey behind all of Carter, Cruden, Barrett, Taylor, Slade and who else...

Hahaha, I'll remember this post the next time NZ get accused of "raping the islands" or some other BS.
*not that I am accusing you of saying such things Stormer

Don't think so. To have a chance you'll have to top our pool and beat Ireland (which you haven't done since the RWC warm ups in 2011 :p). Even if you do, after most likely beating Argentina in the QF, you'll be playing England, in their own back yard.. which I cannot see you winning at all. They may shake under the pressure the typical English media will put on them to make the final however, so maybe there's a chance there. That is only if you play miles better than they did in the 6N.

Unsurprisingly ABs are my pick to win the RWC although 500 days out it is pretty hard to get a good handle on where teams are at - the ABs look to me to have one of the toughest draws as well. As far as I can see right now the other challengers are England and SA.

OZ are is disarray...still. Despite having arguably the best attacking player in the game that still doesn't make up for the fact that the rest of the team are pretty average. I would not be surprised in the least should OZ get knocked out in pool play.

Pools:

Pool A: 1. England, 2. Wales
Pool B: 1. South Africa, 2. Samoa
Pool C: 1. New Zealand, 2. Argentina
Pool D: 1. Ireland, 2. France

Quarters (winners in bold):

New Zealand
vs France (a scary Q Final match up for any Kiwi)
South Africa vs Wales
Ireland vs Argentina
England vs Samoa

Semis:

New Zealand vs South Africa
England vs Ireland

Finals:

New Zealand vs England (the dream final for the organisers)

Now that its written in stone look for my predictions to all come crashing down around me come Oct next year :)

man, if the Wallabies don't make it past the pools at all, it'll officially mark one huge evolution in world test Rugby. A team that's won it twice, as much as the Boks or Blacks, not even making the 1/4F....well it's either them or the Welsh anyways, so as impossible as it sounds, Wales not making the 1/4F doesn't look like a super likely thing either.
I really can't see England not making it. Just can't. Already pretty darn good, getting better, at home, and plus it's England, they'd never allow for this to happen at home at the RWC. Just not happening.

So how about a bit of humility here. Ireland may have a new all Oceanic coaching team now that's teaching them how to play the sport of Rugby and all, and the province system is working fine, but easy on the edgy tone there. Ireland has only started its fine Joe Schmidt era and one 6N ***le alone is a little thin to start bragging about Ireland's invincibility there, yeah ?? Yeah.

I didn't want to say this, but considering Ireland's woeful record at the RWC, nothing's been done yet and they have absolutely everything to prove yet. They were looking great in 2006-2007 beating Australia and South Africa comprehensively and SMASHING England, and then proceeded to getting smashed by France at the RWC and beaten big by Argentina failing to make the 1/4F even.

Fine. In that case you guys will top the pool and play the ABs in QF and show the world how you can knock them out like we've done only in 2 RWC. With your record in all RWC that should be fun. Show us how its done. Can't wait

If both these things happen I will be gobsmacked because it would mean N.Z. came second in their pool.

either way, and i couldn't care less, you guys are looking great & will show us how it's done.

scotland is going to win the world cup! :D there probably the first time you heard that i heard the irb are going to .... oh wait i wasn't suppose to tell you sorry guys

Nope. Not even when it comes to silverware. We've won 4 times H Cup. You haven't won any major Intl trophy 4 times. Keep trying buddy

Looking better than Toulouse anyway bud! Eh eh!!! *cue supa hot fire falling backwards to a crowd of screaming black men.
Glasses, Jacket, Shirt man,
Call me a winner,

Because after I win,
I eat my dinner

.

Boop.. only 5 wins in 14 years & 3 wins in Paris and with the talent of the OGara BOD generation...not much of a return..especially since we've been in decline all along..

Ok we won't say anything about your WC record, lets just say it can only get better

I can't really tell if you took my post badly, but I was only poking fun and wasn't being serious when I mentioned the results since 2011. Besides, what the **** does it matter our record from the 1900's when talking about next year? Oh wait I'll tell you, bugger all. The only results that have relevance are the previous few seasons.
Please tell me where I even suggested Irelands invincibility?

Fine. In that case you guys will top the pool and play the ABs in QF and show the world how you can knock them out like we've done only in 2 RWC. With your record in all RWC that should be fun. Show us how its done. Can't wait

Our previous RWC results has close to no bearing on the 2015 RWC. Please tell me what you disagree with in what I said? Either you'll top the pool and play England in the semi's, at Twickenham, or you come second and face the All Blacks. I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to say you don't have much chance on reaching the final considering your form.

P.s If we top the pool there's virtually no chance that we would face NZ in the QF.

Why is it a lot of the French posters take everything badly unless you virtually blow their trumpet?

Boop.. only 5 wins in 14 years & 3 wins in Paris and with the talent of the OGara BOD generation...not much of a return..especially since we've been in decline all along..

Ok we won't say anything about your WC record, lets just say it can only get better

If France don't beat Ireland in Dublin next year, they won't have beaten Ireland since 2011. Thats more relevant than looking at results from decades ago. ;)

You're absolutely correct. Never said I disagree with anything.

You guys are going to storm that RWC and show us how it's done.

Leave my trumpet alone
