Considering i'm Irish i'll pick 2 or 3 players from the Irish team I think are really good.

1. Brian O'Driscoll, best of the lot.
2. Tommy Bowe
3. Ronan O Gara

There all really great players, so they'd be at the top in the Irish team..

But the best of them all in the game, highest, would have to be NZ's Dan Carter, of course.

I have no clue really, coupons, haven't seen a Welsh game in ages, but maybe that new wing of theirs? How has he been doing?

I like a lot of this list; especially the players from Australia. England is my heart but for some reason I pull for Australia sometimes.

Francois Steyn have not seen his name thrown around enough in everyones list a solid impact player maybe even a star.

I have been looking forward to this game since rugby 08 was released but if Giteau is made a star or impact player i will burn and urinate on the disc and never play it again. He is a has-been and thank god he is being shipped off to france. If he is given a kicking rating above 25/100 I will personally challenge him to a kicking competition.

u guys gt it all wrong, if this is really goin to b the next generation of rugby games then there needs to be mre impact players!!! think like madden style. u look around the super 15 and evn the comps in europe nd u see heaps of players that are STAR quality. y not do da same in dis bt for mre elite players like carter or mccaw they have mre stats in areas that make them better than the rest.

Definitely should be a few star players for most teams, obviously the best teams with the more star players. But the whole rugby 08 thing of stars appearing on screen when these players catch the ball, thats a rubbish thing which should not be carried forward. The star and impact players should just shown in team selection or player statistics screans for a more realistic game play

Love the idea of like EA did with the football of a World XV and a Classic XV

Classic XV - has to include the best, like JPR Williams, Jonah Lomu, Francois Pienaar, Barry John, Jonny Wilkinson, Neil Jenkins, Lawrence Dallaglio, Martin Johnson .....

Haha, i'd have to agree here... Him and Hayman would both be impact players IMO... If Carter were about 6 years younger i'd say that Nick Evans' career would have been very different...
