What games are you playing?

Cheers, did spend near £20m on transfers between the two seasons, best in though was getting Vlad Dragomir on loan from Arsenal, otherwise it was just a case of replacing and upgrading. Was also lucky to have 2 consecutive top level youth graduates who did well straight up.

Picked up FarCry: Primal today,
Not played a massive amount yet (cause of all the rugby) but really enjoying it.
Very like FarCry 4 but I loved that game so I'm a happy bunny.

aaaaand now UFC 2

Really enjoying it so far. I've not played EA MMA or UFC 1 so the only thing I have to compare it to is the original UFC Undisputed on Xbox 360 and this is unrecognisably better.
Striking is so satisfying and reacts to your blows rather than just pre-animated knockdowns and cuts.
Grappling/sub has been simplified massively,
Career is decent as well.

How does the career work? I really want a fight sport game but I'm not sure if UFC would have a captivating enough career like the fight night games did.

Create your character,
Choose a fight style (basically what your beginner stats look like)
You start out in The Ultimate Fighter then progress to prelims, undercards, main cards, ***le shots
You increase your stats by training each week (you get three training sessions on average)
You earn points from fights that you can buy new moves/shots with, upgrade shots (more power/less stamina) and buy(/upgrade) perks

It's not the most involved RPG experience ever, but I'm enjoying it.

Hyper Light Drifter

Pretty cool so far, nice soundtrack, really solid gameplay mechanics, right level of challenge and some pretty cool RPG elements.

Rocket League has dragged me back in.
Must've played more of that than all my other PS4 games combined.

Considering picking up the new Track Mania - I loved all the others that I've played, and I tried the open beta and it was pretty damn fun.

I'm playing splinter cell black list. I'm always way behind the times. It's good, maybe not as good as all the previous ***les but in really enjoying it.

Edit: I also brought 2 worlds 2 for cheap, not sure if it's any good . Anyone played it?

Playing the tail off The Division. Really enjoying it. More than I thought I would. It looks brilliant, I like the 3rd person angle and its a quick game to learn the basic mechanics. Its a bit confusing at first with understanding how all the weapons, gear etc mesh together. You can play it alone, which I do for the side missions and encounters etc and you can join friends or randoms for the story missions, which is good because in the ones I've done with people not one of them has dicked about ruining things but actually working well to defeat the mission.

Very much recommend it.

@TRF_Olyy Fancy playing one of the older Trackmanias some time? I've got United and the Trackmania 2 games.

Currently messing about a bit in Fallout 4 and doing a mutliplayer campaign in Attila total war.

Unfortunately I'm a massive scrub and don't actually own them - used to play them on my brother's computer whenever he came back from Uni (so this was many moons ago)

8 more long as hell days to Dark Souls 3.

Can't Wait.

DS3 followed by UC4.

I know I'm a bit of a slowpoke, but Witcher 2.

Great story, very immersive. I love the semi-open style of the world in the Witcher series. But the combat is pretty bad, and the controls are terrible. (Who are these literal giants with hands big enough to use key bindings of 5-9 for spells?)

It was always a day one purchase for me so I'm trying to avoid spoilers. The release debacle means I've already seen more than I wanted to and I'm pretty ****ing angry about it. Everyone seems to love it though.

And the Xboners have been able to download it, in English from the JP store since then.

Ok, so... Doom (aka Doom 4) multiplayer beta...

I only played about 20mins of it, and it was OK, very good performance, looked pretty nice, fluid mechanics.
No worries about the new ID Tech so far.

I'm not all that interested in the multiplayer aspect of the game if I'm being totally honest, I want to play the campaign and that's about it.
CS:GO has all of my interests in MP covered for the moment.

I am excited for the campaign, so don't take the fact I only played it briefly as a sign it's bad, it's not... it's just that I'm not that interested in the style of MP it offers.
Moderate pace, small to medium sized arena stlyle maps with some influences from COD and latter-day BF games.
